| In other news, a new PSP RPG of OP was announced. Even though it'd be more appropriate to create another topic for it, as it'll most likely not see a release outside of Japan due to be a small anime-based game for the now dying PSP, I might as well just put this here instead of clogging up space and getting hopes up. If in the unlikely chance that this does get localized, we'll have a new thread for it. - Spoiler:

| I'm interested in it. For now I'm going to hold off on account of finances, but I'd like to hear how it is. | |

| All I know about One Piece is from the first 20 episodes or so I watched when I was younger but the gameplay in this looks pretty great so I ordered it. | |

| 'Kay, I got it. It's sad how it was the only copy sent to that particular store I got it from. THE FAITH IN THIS GAME IS SO OVERWHELMING, GUYZ.
Anyway, the gameplay's fun and there's a good handful of combos you can pull of.
I don't care for the QTEs during story mode much, though. I can't wait to play those mindfuck adventure levels that took forever for that guy to complete in that one stream Baal and I watched way back. That'll be fun, I'm sure.

it's probably due to the fact it's a koei/omega force game anyway, i'm considering this but DD games are beginning to bug me

| If you haven't already bought it you could import a UK version or something. You should really upgrade your hard drive though, you seem to run out of space all the time and it's really easy to do not to mention relatively inexpensive. | |

| i'm running out of space because of DD games and TTT2's massive install. if i were to finish these games space wouldn't be a problem. but ever since the 11 games ps+ gave away, i'm struggling to maintain a good amount of space on my hdd
either way, if i do get this, i'm more than likely buying this DD too as it will be cheaper for me

| This is pretty high praise (from koei wiki): - Spoiler:
According to Unozawa, the game was just going to be called One Piece Musou. The current title of the game took shape when manga creator, Eiichiro Oda, changed it himself. According to his commentary in Shonen Jump magazine, Oda was blown away by the quality of the character models when he first saw the demo movie, believing the game's cinematics to be on par with those seen in a full budget movie. Oda was so impressed that he turned down the development team's request to illustrate the game's cover image. He thought the models alone were enough to showcase the game.

That's a shame. The picture of Luffy(and Ace's head) does show how well they captured the style perfectly, but it isn't that much of an attractive or creative cover overall. Having an actual illustration from Oda himself would probably have looked a lot more striking.
