| That's the word going around. I was going to mention that case screen taken a while back before, but part of me felt skeptical about it. | |

| I can't read Japanese either but it sure looks like it says 1-2 players. There's also a 4.4gb install, I would guess. | |

Well basically every koei game has had some form of online coop in there latest iterations so hopefully this one does to. The fact warriors orochi 3 makes me feel its likely seeing as you both use 3 different playable characters on that. I'm hoping the 1-2 in brackets is referring to network play but honestly there boxes look different to ours. I'm just glad we will definitely have coop on some level at least.

| When I said I was skeptical, I was referring to the legitimacy of that screenshot. Is it real or some fake print out put over a case? The picture was taken daaaaays ago as I first saw it pop in some gfaqs topic(and yes, it says 2 player local and multiplayer and has a 4.4GB install as Nonny mentioned). Could someone have gotten the game that early? Regardless, there's no doubt in my mind that this game will have MP. They'd be stupid not to put that in. - SimianWonder wrote:

Don't worry, Kaio doesn't play online. You can gladly shotgun Crocodile when we all bro it up and kick ass.

| - Spoiler:
A brand new One Piece: Pirate Warriors (One Piece: Kaizoku Musou) scan from Shonen Jump has been released! Boy, oh boy, is it nice! It features character arts and screenshots of several, but not all, of bosses from the game. We see Dracule “Hawk-Eyes” Mihawk, Marine Admiral Aokiji, Sentomaru, Rob Lucci in his Leopard form, “Tin-Plate” Wapol, and everybody’s favorite Captain Buggy! We also see a Pacifista, but it may actually be the real Bartholomew Kuma. One Piece: Pirate Warriors will have what-if scenarios, that include fights not seen in the anime/manga like Robin vs Aokiji and Whitebeard vs Crocodile. It will also have an online challenge mode where players can go back and fight with every boss in the game, compete for high scores that will show up on an online leaderboard. One Piece PS3, One Piece: Pirate Warriors (or One Piece: Kaizoku Musou in Japanese), is the first One Piece game on the Sony PlayStation 3. It will cover One Piece Part 1 as well as some of the story contents of the One Piece timeskip. The game is in development by Omega Force and will be published by Namco Bandai Games and Tecmo Koei in Japan on March 1, 2012. A European and North American release are possible based on trademark filings by Namco Bandai, but no official word has been released.

| I'll be more annoyed if they omit Kuro. | |

| Yeah, looks like no Skypiea and no Enel. That seems an odd omission and I can see a few people getting butthurt over it. Assuming they don't add it as DLC of course. | |

Given the nature of that kind of DLC having to create completely new environments its unlikely (they've gotta make it all cloud based). I do think Enel being a DLC character to be a likely thing though. Honestly fans were gong to be butthurt about this game regardless of what it did. I'm honestly shocked at the amount of content its got already, its gone above and beyond any other game i can think of, considering the length of one piece and the style of the game, and how different the characters will inevitably be due to having very different powers.

My guess is because he's linked to a origin story. Thats why it would be fairly stupid to cut Kuro or any of the early villains. I'm debating waiting for the english release or not, seeing as there's the audio issue to. I would like to have japanese audio and its very rare for me to prefer that but this is definitely the case for one piece as its what i grew used to.

| Nobody cares about Chopper's origin story at this point because it's not like Chopper's ever really been notable. | |

What exactly is that based on baal? For story flow in the game i'd rather the reindeer not suddenly pop up. His origin story was also pretty good, just because he sucks later doesn't take away from it. Also considering he's like 8 so far what little he has done is pretty noteworthy.

I dunno Buu, I'd prefer to have a brief summary of why there's a small creature on deck and how Luffy smashed some random monarch and have the Skypia arc in there than play through Drum Island. Also I thought he was like 13 when he was introduced. Because you have to bear in mind he trained as a doctor for a couple of years before he met Luffy.

Like i said level design is probably a large part of this. I'm sure a lot of effort will go into characters, but going by Koei's record for not really being assed with scenery expect most of the islands to look very similar, with copy pasta trees and crates. I'm not gonna hate on them though because they often try to cater to the fanbase and then the fans don't buy the game.
