used to have the dvd, it got lost somewhere. didnt the have a sequel planned or something? or was that a joke at the end of the movie?

Well I thought they were, but when I found out it was a joke I was so cut...

Oddly, I tried the demo and thought it was rubbish, a shameless GoW clone, with none of the flair of Bayonetta.

If you believe in science over religion in any way no matter how much it makes sense, you can bet this test going to put you into hell.

I don't see how the likeable character (Dante) fighting the unlikeable character (Kratos) is relevant to that statement.

I can't really like either character, Dante's just a showoff.

At least he doesn't murder people.

The GoW3 demo is all I've played of the GoW series.

kratos was boring and one dimensional, if he even managed to have one dimension he was just angry
i never found GoW fun i found the combo system dull repetitive and unintuitive
it had weapons i didn't even like (in fact i can't even remember the other weapons)

weapon system in the later DMC games was far superior though i nev er used the huitar i could see it had potential

The only weapon that was ever useful was the Chains.

dante's way better, although he is a bit stereotypically cool
there not any other game characters worth mentioning that are like him

i don't think the series ever took itself that seriously
its a bit 50/50 half the time he comes off as a cock DMC 3
but other times he's just hilarious like in 1 and 4

DMC took itself seriously and created much narm hilarity, DMC2 did and failed horribly, finally the developers realized what people loved and made DMC 3 & 4 cliche ridden, but hilariously handled cliche's along with over the top action and sexy gameplay.

Basically DMC 3 & 4 are Bruce Campbell styled action movie-like games.
