Neither are a bad thing, you'll catch a few people out in ranked matches, that's for sure. As for Specials, you seemed to be okay with Fei Long's, or was that just fluke?

Range is good, but if it does no damage you'll get nowhere. Dhalsim for instance. As you can probably tell, I don't use him much, because he's too slow, and does hardly any damage. He's great at playing keep away, but I'd rather just use Guile to turtle with.

Last night I fought two guys using Zangief.

One of them spammed his Spinning Clothesline and Atomic Buster. All the other one did was spam his Atomic Buster.

I also fought a lot of Akuma, Ken, and Ryu users. And beat all of them with just Cammy, Dan, and Sakura.

Oh yes, did I mention Dan is one of my best characters now?

Also I fought a very good Gen, and two Guile's that beat me. The first one beat me into the dust, and the second one I did much better against.

I only play against Ken, Ryu and Akuma spammers. Sometimes I fight a few Zangief, Sagat, Sakura and Rose. But they all spam something.

I also got perfect'd by a skillful Bison player. Ahh, I really like Bison... I wish I were better at charging to use him.

You and me both.

I can't even use Chun-Li properly because I suck at charging.

A lot of people struggle with the 'charge' characters, that's why there are so many Ryu/Ken/Akuma/Sagats out there at the moment.

Charge characters are easier to predict because they have to plan ahead, but I still have a huge soft spot for Guile. He's great at playing defence.

I finally finished Fei's normal trials.
I can't do though his hard ones. Chicken wing alone with PS3's d-pad is difficult enough and linking a HP after makes matters even worse.

The Hard trials are really, really hard. Gen and Gouken's first ones are quite easy, but otherwise I think it's at this point that you need an arcade stick.

Incidentally, Chou, have you finished Vega's level 3 normal trial? I think you'd like his title.

Chou, that was a vast improvement, even over such a short space of time. The constant high / low / overhead keeps your opponent guessing, and you're much less predictable than before.

You've even started taking rounds against some of my stronger characters, so you're doing something right. Keep it up!

I have no problem with hadoken spammers anymore with my more aerial style, but the shoryuken ones are still a problem. Everytime I play online I feel like playing a platformer jumping over all these fireballs and avoiding contact with the 'boss'.

Anyway, starting from Wednesday I'll try getting better at timing/linking/cancelling.

I wouldn't bother with linking, online it's almost impossible due to lag. Cancelling is well worth it though.

For some reason I can't do one of his special in lvl 2. It'll have to wait until eventshub.com posts his walkthrough.

Which one are you stuck on? They're still fresh in my mind.
