| Now that Dangan Ronpa has a release date I might consider getting a Vita TV if it ever comes out here. | |

| With Persona 4 Golden on PSN sale for £12 at the moment, I've been contemplating buying a Vita, though sadly I've paid no attention to the games over the last couple of years. P4G aside, what are some really good titles available for the Vita? | |

| Muramasa, Ys, Zero Escape: VLR (play 999 first though) and Tearaway (very short) are good, Soul Sacrifice is meant to be good too but it's going to be rereleased with extra shit so I haven't played it. | |

| vita's are also great for other things, ps4 remote play etc but gamewise you're better off getting plus & a big memory card. 2 games free a month (soul sacrifice atm) i have one & have not bought a single game yet | |

| I hit the PSN store this morning, just before it updated, so today I've managed to register downloads against Gravity Rush, Guacamelee, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, GTA Liberty City Stories, Sonic Racing, BLAZBLUE Continuum SHift Extend and Soul Sacrifice. That's seven games for free. Can't be bad.
On the subject of Vita itself, anything I should be aware of spec-wise? Wifi and 3G are pretty much essential, natch, are there any other spec differences or the like I should be aware of?

| no use getting a 3G version, its only on pay as you go in this country & it only lets you access the internet not play online, also its more expensive. | |

| In some places 3G version is actually cheaper, my only gripe with it is i'm not sure if it naturally uses my battery power.
Buy it.
Good games: Zero Escape : Virtue's Last Reward Uncharted Golden Abyss Gravity Rush Soul Sacrifice Persona 4 Golden Arena Velocity Ultra Guacamelee Tales from Space: Mutant Blob Attacks Dragons Crown Muramasa Rebirth EDF 2017 Touch My Katamari Wipeout 2048 Rayman Legends Rayman Origins LBP Vita Sound Shapes
Personal preference Everybody's Golf, I just bought that now.

| After looking at some of the vastly over-priced Vitas on eBay, I ordered from Game; Wifi only as I wouldn't use 3G to be honest, with a 16GB Memory Card, Little Big Planet and the new Tearaway for 149.99, which looked a pretty good deal. | |

| Another quick question; is it worth my time downloading the Instant Game collection Vita titles onto the PS3 in advance, (ready to transfer to the Vita) or does this not actually save much time? | |

| Just download what you inend to play first. 16 gig you'll be alright with on my 32gig card i've got around 20-30 games on there.
I noticed fighting games are typically the biggest.

| Uncharted and Persona 4 Golden are both around 3.5GB each, the others seem to be around 1.7-1.8GB. Looking forward to it though, not something I ever thought I'd say about the Vita! | |

| Yep, when mine arrives I'll have a total of nine games ready to go instantly, five of those from the instant game collection. A ton fifty for new hardware and nine games can't be sniffed at. | |

| Vita arrived this afternoon, so now having a play with it. Impressions? Well hardware has never been the issue, has it? It's a wonderful feeling bit of kit, certainly giving off the impression of being a rather more premium product than the slightly plastic-y 3DS, and the screen is beautiful (though not sure I'm going to like putting mucky fingerprints all over it). It's already synced up with my PS3 and I'm copying some of my downloaded games across, which might take a while judging by the speed the progress bar is moving across the screen. The home page feels a little cluttered at the moment, but I'd imagine I can add/remove/move it around to suit myself so not a huge issue, and I'm not sure if I like the feel of the analogue sticks as they're just a little small and slightly brittle feeling, but that might be because they're a third the size of the sticks on the Xbox One's pad and that's pretty much all I've used in the last few weeks. I've got a lot of games to catch up on, though likely everything else will fall to the wayside if Persona 4 Golden gets its hooks into me the way vanilla P4 did on PS2. Also, a thought; it's true I've generally favoured the 360 over the PS3 for my games the last seven or so years, hence why I opted for the One rather than the PS4 for now, but purchasing a Vita means I'll have owned at least one version of every PlayStation-branded piece of hardware released in the last nineteen years. Bar the PS4 of course, that'll come next year. Say what you like about my misguided liking for Microsoft's offerings, but I'm not adverse to lining Sony's pockets either. | |
