Vita game general discussion

Tried to finish Knytt Underground but that game is just too big, and a lot of the secrets infuriate me. It is a great platformer and i do hope one day i have the patience to play it all but it looks like you really need to run around a lot to get anywhere which does my head in quite a bit. The story seems interesting.

Started playing Jet Set Radio, music is pretty good and its a fun game, but difficulty curve seems insane, if you do play it make sure you always and i seriously mean always hit the biggest tags first otherwise you get shot to crap while trying to do those at the end of the level, also realised your character is capable of taking out a helicopter with a spray can while twirling majestically through the air like a candy wrapper caught in an updraft, adds a whole new level of badassery.

I didn't finish Knytt and I didn't like Jet Set Radio. Ragnarok Odyssey is fun though. It's part of some subset of action RPG that seems to have passed me by, because I'm suddenly seeing a lot of games that look just like it.

The monster hunter type? Let me know if you see it cheap i'm not dropping 30 pounds on vita games, when i got a backlog.

It's £25 and it's digital only I think. I'm not sure if it's like Monster Hunster. Is Monster Hunter open world? Ragnarok is entirely quest based with lots of different, smaller levels.

I really should try and play gravity rush first before i invest in this I think. Seeing as people kept saying it was the best vita game. So is this multiplayer?

Yeah there's 4 player co-op. It's the prize for the current weekly debate thing on the blog. Gravity Rush is definitely worth playing though.

The way I hold the Vita, I have my middle fingers resting on the back touchpad all the time, so I disable it too if I can.

Yeah this, honestly it was making me consider getting the grips.

The touchpad controls for flying in LBPV are pointless and terrible. Using it to push stuff from behind makes sense but why the hell do I need to use it for flying? It would be passable if it actually worked properly but the camera keeps lurching forward unexpectedly making it really hard control.

Day 1 buy, its like 2 pounds.

I'm stuck on chapter 9 in Ragnarok. Have to kill 100 flamegiants in 20 minutes. It's bloody annoying.

You have to help me through the hrungnir fight later, then i'll get on to helping you.

I was playing with someone else stuck on that fight last night. Took a while because he kept dying, then someone else joined and they kept dying.

Those should be Vita wallpaper dimensions if photobucket isn't being a tosser. I don't have a Vita logo in the same style but I could make one.

I really should focus on beating Gravity Rush, but it's so much easier to sink my teeth into Persona 4 for some reason. Gravity Rush is still excellent, though.

Finally I got my folders, now my screen is only onescreen big but looks cluttered that said so much easier to navigate.

Guacamelee looks good. It's from Drinkbox (Tales from Space devs), it's cross-buy, and it's 20% off for Pluus for two weeks.

I think i'll get it. IF you get it before me let me know if its worth it. Drinkbox are awesome.

It's a shame it doesn't have online co-op.

Completed Guacamelee its a great game. I didn't look for all the chests mainly because some looked like they need frustrating platforming and I didn't need the cash or power ups to beat the game on normal. When I play this on hard i'll definitely goto get those.

Thomas Was Alone is awful. I really hope his girlfriend never leaves him home alone again.

That is literally the worst game i've ever played. If I didn't say i'd write a review of it I don't think i'd have ever played through it clocked in at less than 3 hours and basically offered nothing in any shape or form.
