Call me when Sonic is finally ended.

I sure as hell am not getting this or that color game. Rather I'll look into past Sonic games and see if I can find them.

Sonic 2 is proabbly the best and sonic 3 is about the same but its deabateable.

The game gear and MS sonics were alright, Sonic CD is really weird. Sonic adventure was probably the last good sonic game, although sonic heroes was ok.

Sonic adventure and adventure 2 battle was good until next gen came and made the graphics age.

I suggest you download an genesis emulator and play Sonic 2 long version. It has all the stuff the ogriginal had plus the stages that were taken out. It's my favorite Sonic game ever.

What, does Sonic Team want their furry games to be taken seriously as mature works of fiction.

Na standalone. Seems like a rip off to me just buy sonic gens for PC.

So it wont be like all those free games PS+ users get? What extra features does it have?

Oh wait you meant that vintage collection i thought you meant a package deal like the anniversary bundly or genesis collection.

There hasn't really been much info but being in the vintage range would maake sense, although that said the vintage range lists posted haven't ever had this included.

That would be cool though. It's an instant buy for me. Also they need to release Sonic 3 + Knuckles. That is the end all be all of side-scrolling platformers, let alone Sonic games.

I honestly preferred standalone sonic 3.

Seeing as how all my favourite levels were in teh first half of the game. The only exception was stage 14 which was sonic only, that was pretty pimp.

There is nothing good about stand alone Sonic 3 that isn't included in the full game (game was split in half due to time constraints). The only difference gameplay wise is a disappointing last boss (amazing music, easy boss) for Sonic and Tails. Knuckles still gets to fight him cuz he's boss.

The music that replaces some of the S3 music is better in every regard (except for the mid-level boss theme, that was pretty pimp).

All stand alone S3 is is an incomplete game really.

invincibility theme which is also the super sonic theme is way better in 3 as its the classic one.

true, there are a few things like that and other sound effects but I generally only play with them ocmbined in my childhood so I got so accustomed to the S&K versions. Still love the S3 mid-level music though.

I agree i think its mainly becaue the soundtrack i prefer the vanilla sonic 3. As when you got both you can choose i just found myself playing S3 more also its easier to finish in one sitting.

I'm not a fan of the sonic save system great as it is it always felt like cheating.

Yea but they were way too easy. Becomeing Hyper Sonic is child's play. Sonic 2 was pretty damn difficult (if you didn't use the glitch) especially if you went through with Tails.
