Sexual enuendos aside, there are an unnlimited number of randomly assorted S3 special stages. The game is Called Blue Sphere and is a shit ton of fun because the difficulty blows the actual S3 and S&K levels out of the water.

Playing episode 2 its pretty fun. It's better than part 1 from what i've played. That said i'm not feeling sonic 2 epicness. Not tried the coop but its a nice idea and also there are tag moves which are cool. The main problem for me is the music is not particularly epic.
Apparently if you have episode there are bonus levels in this game.
