The only thing that will save them is if their REAL new Sonic game for 2010 isn't this episodic disaster.

I want a REAL game, not some rip off of the Megaman series' direction. I want Sega to continue making chances until they reach perfection, not just "the same thing again" from years and years ago. Unleashed was fun, they actually were heading into the right direction with that amazing blend of past styles and the future styles, it was only critically panned BECAUSE every critic is a nostalgia whore or just sucked at it considering it was for once, challenging.

Sonic Unleashed sucked because 75% of the game was doing awfully boring levels with an elastic werewolf.

Bullshit, you spend more time doing day levels than night levels(unless it's the wii version, but that's their problem for purchasing an inferior port anyway that turned out to be almost completely different).

Werehog, for the most part was pretty fun if you didn't suck at it.

No they don't, they're pretty quick and easy. The only long night level was the ice one and maybe that Abadat one. The Abadat day level was the longest stage in the game and kicks the night levels' length's asses.

Hell, they already made it a failure by not even being an actual next-gen game, just some outdated looking PSN game they'll probably not give their all for, that and Sonic being the only playable character which was a horrible and shitty thing Unleashed went with as well. The fuck ups of the recent games didn't have anything to do with them BEING 3D, the problems weren't even the gimmicks either.
The reason why so many games were rushed and lousy were two things, one year development plans and constantly changing the game engine.
They should've just kept the engine used in SA1 and SA2, God knows why they changed it to the one both Heroes and Shadow used(seriously,
if you take out the different gimmicks and such, they'd be the exact same gameplay and movement). 06's one was like the previous two's
retarded little brother.

Finally, they came to an engine and gameplay style that was good, all it needs now is some tweaking on the speed and better stage layouts.
