| I was about to make a comment on it and then they just scored..
but yeah, I'm starting to believe in it more and more that we could actually take them, cause they really aren't doing all too well.
If we really play good against the US later today, I'll definitely have even more faith.

| I'd say we're about equally matched so far. maybe a slight advantage for us.
definitely playing better than our first three matches.

| That American goalie is really good. Still, I can't imagine America keeping up this pace for another 30 minutes. | |

| You might as well skip the first 80 minutes of all these games. All goals are made after. | |

| fantastic match, that was a joy to watch, I think i died like 100 times in the last 15 minutes, but damn.
I'm happy we won, I'm even more happy we finally showed that quality that i've been saying this team has for quite some time now.
haha, damn it, our best result since 1986.

| Beligum outplayed us. I'm just glad that U.S got Top 16. Goalies are really showing up. The Swiss goalie really kept them in the game against Argentina and U.S goalie did the same thing basically. Ochoa went HAM, etc. | |

| France put in a better effort than I predicted. They played a pretty good second half, Neuer is just too good though. | |

| Brazil v Colombia was a pretty awful game, there were so many fouls the game had no flow at all. If that's how Brazil intend to play en route to the World Cup, then I'm cheering for the Germans. | |

| ha, today's the day.
still about 6 hours to go but I'm already quite nervous. the thing is, I'm already quite happy with the result so far, this was as far as I had hoped we would get, but when you get there, you do start to hope for more.
but there'll be no disappointment here if we go home tomorrow, I can say that, and there's no shame in losing against Argentina. that said, I do honestly believe we could take them if we play like we did against the US.

| I'm hoping both Belgium and Argentina pull the finger out, has potential to be a really good game. | |

| Belgium and Argentina are my two World Cup sweep stakes, so either way today will see one of my teams drop out. In an ideal world, I guess I'd like to see Belgium go through though, they've played better football than Argentina and have the added benefit of not actually being Argentina. | |

| Well Belgium need to lift their game if they're going to beat the Argentinians. Brief moments of brilliance won't be enough. | |
