I mean this in the nicest way possible, but your friend Tobi seems to take advantage of your stupidity quite often.

It's the fact that you keep believing what he tells you. Like that whole hero mode shit he said about Zelda.

There is a Hero mode, and he was pretty much right about it. There are heart containers, just no hearts will spawn to heal you.

That would work BD, I've been doing a lot of enchanting as well and it's pretty awesome the stuff you can make. Of course the stuff I use most of the time aren't things I enchanted myself, because they're just awesome like the archmage robes.

yeah, i've noticed limitations with enchanting though, so hopefully when i get it to a high level with the perk bonus' that limitation won't be too bad. i want to try and test enchanting if i can on my first character if i have enough perks left to do so. at first i thought it was 50, but i've read level cap is 70 or 80

My copy arrived earlier today so I'm going to start a new character tomorrow. Probably going for an archer/dagger user.

Put a limitation on yourself to make it more fun. No quick travel, only certain equipment, skills, etc.

Somebody get Kaede's quote, set it up with something talking about porn, and then post it in the board member quotes topic. I don't have the time to do it myself.

If your save file is over 8mb that's why.

i guess, i don't really pay attention to any other teen sitcom other than that
anyway, it seems the companions quest line was fucking me up too, i was often told to kill non existing enemies, in fact, i still have a miscellaneous quest i can't complete because the giant i am suppose to kill isn't there either
oh and, yeah, my file just reach over 8Mb last night. i was able to get around the first set of freezing, at first i couldn't leave a shop but i went out the back door and for whatever reason that solved it, then during a companions quest it kept freezing in the cave upon entering, so i was forced to try and load a previous save. luckily, that helped to as i was told to go to a different area that didn't freeze. then the next mission was the damn assassinate the non existing enemies. so i reloaded again and was told to go to a different area and i was good. but yeah that pain in the ass shit took me about 3 hours just to finish the companions quest line which is really short

Bethesda have claimed they're working on a fix for the PS3 version, no idea how long it's going to take though as a guy who worked on New Vegas said that it's a "fundamental issue with the engine" and would "take a large time commitment" to fix.
Bethesda of course promptly denied that but frankly they're all full of shit and they're still pretending that the Creation Engine isn't just a better looking Gamebryo so they have zero credibility as far as I'm concerned.
They did post these tips on their message board but I dunno how well they work or how useful they'll be to you.
Quote :
"Turn off auto saves. This can cause temporary stuttering since the PS3 saves these files in the background. This is most noticeable with large saves when fast traveling to a new area or entering a new area that auto saves. Clear space on your hard drive. Skyrim makes heavy use of the hard drive, and freeing up space on here seems to help many people. Hard drive speeds also differ in PS3 models. Some users have reported increase performance by upgrading their drives. Waiting for time to pass. Many things are running in the world depending on what quests you've done or places you have visited. Using Wait or Rest options, passing time will clear up some of these. It depends how long you wait, it may take up to 30 days for some items. Saving, resetting, and loading after this will have the largest effect."

Not gonna lie, turning off autosave in a game like this doesn't sound like any sort of 'fix' to me.

i guess i can try and turn auto save off, my freezing has always occurred when entering or leaving a place. however, i doubt any of those will fix the backwards flying and teleporting dragons. i've been trying to do a miscellaneous quest but i can't catch the dragon. the closest i've gotten was when it's head got stuck in a rock but, after taking it down to half life, it teleported and when i found it it it had full health. at least it isn't happening to all dragons though it's still very annoying because i really want to forge dragon armor for my companions
