I watched Glee for the first 10 episodes or so and really liked it.

Glee has characters you care for, nice comedy and the songs are existing songs with a twist.
High School Musical is generic Disney crap for little girls.
The Golden Globes are usually seen as a warm-up for the Oscars. They're decent and I seeing that the Emmys are a joke where the same goddamn show wins every year, I see the GG as the real award for television shows now.
