So I'm gonna watch the Godzilla movies

Two in one year. Wow, must be getting popular. Anyway, this was the weirdest one yet. As it starts, there's apparently some weird stuff going on with Earth. Heat wave in the middle of winter, lots of meteor showers, etc. The Japanese scientists are all there, trying to contact UFO's to ask them what's going on. Yeah, that's their plan apparently. Not that it matters, because this plot-line vanishes after about 15 minutes.

A princess of some random country is introduced, and apparently some people are trying to kill her. They blow up the plane she's on, but she jumps out of it over the ocean before it happens because a weird voice tells her to. This is never really explained. Anyway, some police guy is assigned to find and protect her. When she turns up, she thinks she's from Jupiter and she starts predicting the future. Not sure where this has come from, but whatever. Before that can start making sense, there's more plot-lines to set up! So we see the police guy in his house, with his mother and reporter sister, and they put this TV show on. It's about old celebrities or something, and these kids ask to see Mothra again. Yeah, that's right, Mothra's in this film too. First recurring monster besides Godzilla. Those little women explain one of the larva died, but there's one left. It's still a larva which sucks.

While that was happening, a meteor hit a mountain and some scientists have gone to investigate it. And while that was happening, the Jupiter lady shows up at Mt. Something-or-other to predict a disaster. What disaster? Well aparently, Rodan is reviving! Great, I guess... except I don't know who Rodan is. Which is because Rodan was never in a Godzilla film before, he had his own film, and they've just stuck in this one for a laugh or something. And after all that shit happens, Godzilla rises from the sea again!

So that's Mothra, Rodan, and Godzilla so far, and Ghidorah hasn't appeared yet. Godzilla and Rodan get into a bit of a fight, which is kinda rubbish because Rodan's a bird and all he really does is peck. And then this happens:



It's like the muppet show.

So anyway, there's some scenes where some guys try to kill the princess, she still thinks she's from Jupiter, blah blah. The meteor that crashed into the mountain turns out to contain King Ghidorah, who apparently destroyed Jupiter's culture thousands of years ago. Some people from Jupiter escaped to Earth and interbred with humans, and they passed down some powers like telepathy. Why the princess was suddenly afflicted by this is explain in about a minute by a cut away to some random guy saying she fell through the hole between worlds or whatever. The plot's bullshit basically. So Ghidorah gets out and flies around doing this:



He does that a lot. What will the human's plan be this time? Well, they've finally realised they're fucking useless, so they just ask Mothra for help. Being just a larve, it's pretty shit though. But then a new idea! Get Mothra to talk to Godzilla and Rodan and get them to team up so all 3 cna fight Ghidorah. Ugh... Fine. Sure. That's fine. So Mothra arrives while Godzilla and Rodan are fighting (still) and tries to reason with them, but they'd rather do this:



Yeah, that happens. It's now quite clear that the film is taking the piss. Mothra sprays some web stuff on Godzilla to stop it, and Rodan laughs at him. Then Mothra sprays Rodan, and Godzilla laughs. Godzilla fucking laughs. 10 years ago Godzilla was the embodiment of atomic destruction and reasonless wrath, what the hell is happening? Anyway, after some bullshit speech (none of them actually talk, which is good, it's just narrated by those little women) , they all agree to team up to fight Ghidorah. Rodan's tactic extends to this:



While Godzilla basically just throws rocks and gets his ass burned and over acts. Seriously.



Anyway, they all fight Ghidorah for a while, and in the end Ghidorah just flies off. Yeeeeeaaaah. He doesn't die. They don't kill him. He just flies off. Well it's a safe bet he'll be back. Mothra goes back to his island, and Rodan and Godzilla don't do anything and don't get a resolution because apparently they're not important enough. They're just wandering around somewhere. The End.

Oh, and that girl gets her memory back somehow. I didn't really care. The film might have been better if it actually made sense though.
