So... exactly the same thing all over again but in the streets of Gotham?

Harley didn't look any older. He's probably just fucked up from the venom stuff.

Well, to their credit we just get a silhouette we don't actually see her body that well she just has the same overall figure.
It might be the Venom but I hope to think this is Joker at old age.

That wasn't a silhouette. It was the same character model from the first game.
And really I would have hoped for another Batman game instead of another Arkham Asylum game, if you get my meaning.

I looked at it again, yeah it's pretty much the same but what the hell, I'm game for a sequel.
But yeah, I get what you mean about wanting something other than Arkham Asylum and I can agree.

There were some rather obvious characters missing from the first game, or that were just hinted at, such as the Penguin, Twoface, Mr. Freeze, etc. They should show up. Meet the Riddler face to face as well.

Prepare for one hell of a long development time though. The wait's gonna be a killer but in the end, it'll be worth it.
And I am game for a sequel just because it'll be in Gotham. I mean there's only so much you could do with Batman, it's entering a stage between "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" and "It's just the same". This is a baby growing up right now, the same gameplay style(improved no doubt) in Gotham City = smexy possibilities and situations!

There were the Riddlers hint that gave little items of certain characters or in Freeze's case his whole cell, but yeah, they need to actually appear.
And not have sucky boss fights.

Hell, I'd be happy with redone music from the first Batman game for the NES. Like so...

my biggest fault with this game was the awful don't be seen by scarecrow bits
which reminded me of the VR mission in mgs 2 substance which were funny but not really fun

Yeah, the actual gameplay of the Scarecrow parts was tedious, although I wouldn't say awful. But the transitions in and out of those segments were the best parts of the game by a mile.

oh yeah that part was smexy just the fact it turned into some weird ass stealth game mechanic especially when at points the scarecrow aced fairly retarded when it was fairly obvious exactly where you were
I never had much trouble with the Scarecrow parts.
oh its not a problem with the difficulty i think i only got caught once in the first two encounters (yet to complete the game so dunno if thers a third)
its more the fact i felt the actual boss battles with him could of been more interesting i dunno like involving illusions or spectores and real things you could hit or not hit maybe have to switch between viewing modes i got no real clue but having a game thing like that would of been more fun then the run and hide
and personally i thought general stealth in the game was way more fun then these segments i dunno personally when i'm forced to tackle a problem in a certain way i find it kinda dull
I'm really getting sick of these fucking game of the year editions.
What's the fucking point of releasing the god damned DLC and buying the game at 60 bucks if you plan on rereleasing the god damn thing again?
I know they don't plan the success of these games, but for the love of god, I buy Fallout 3 not knowing it had story DLC and that it was on the Game of the Year edition too.

well bethesda weren't too bad in some respects they released there game of the year version quite a long while after the original versions of there games (oblivion and fallout 3) the then sold the new version at full values and had heavy price drops in the orignal versions
B: AA on the other hand is trying this shitty 3d gimmick and giving you 4 pounds worth of DLC considering the GOTY edition costs more then double the normal version here (17 pounds/$34 and 35 pounds/$70) they really taking the piss especially with the release of B:AA2 not even that far away its basically a way to keep there game at full price for longer
even LBP isn't that bad releasing effective a bestsellers GOTY edition with the MGS DLC free they just put the price up a bit so thats more acceptable
what i find even more suspect is that batman AA didn't win any big GOTY prizes either so i'm not sure which one there talking about AFAIK the GOTY so far have been oblivion/fallout3/uncharted 2/MGS4 unless i'm mistaken

I remember reading ages ago that they're the hardest challenges in the game. If difficulty appeals to you then I'd go for it. Otherwise meh. Not worth buying an overpriced copy for, regardless of how good the game is.
No, it's not. I quite liked the game, but found the challenge maps boring because they were just arbitrary challenges and not part of the story. I never bought any of them though. I tried out all the free ones and I got one with the game.

its a great game mixing the different play styles seamlessly, could do with a few more gadgets though, so can't wait for the sequel.
I'm loving the challenges i finally understand how to pull off a fully variable combo and how to not get hit, finishing challenges pretty easily, the predator ones were easy but the extreme versions are much harder not using the gargoyles
