Yes he will. He's one of the most popular characters, is not a main character, Luffy's brother, Whitebeard's most trusted subordinate, Buggy's friend, Dragon's son, and a friend of Jimbei. He's an extremely important character who's death will set off a giant shitstorm of events.

He will die. Even by Oda's standards this is too good to pass up.

He'll die, Luffy gets mad and become all mighty and powerful for a while.

Also, Ace won't die. Whitebeard will die. The New Age has been hyped since Bellamy and DoFlamingo's first appearances. It'll begin when Whitebeard dies.

He gets up one more time, to take out one Warlord and help Ace, but Doflamingo CUTS OFF HIS LEG, after which Moria STABS HIM THROUGH THE HEART WITH A SPEAR at which point Little Oars Jr. DIES/IS MURDERED. IN ONE PIECE.

Oh yeah, before all that Hancock turns some pirates/marines into stone and then kicks them into pieces, so all of those guys DIE too.

No, wait! Spoiler provider just made a follow-up comment that it isn't clear if Oars died or not. The marines also weren't dead, just parts of their body fell off after being shattered.

I don't really care that much for gore. It's just an extra bonus in some fight scenes. Like, Enrico getting his face caved in by WR. But, it isn't needed.

After Lucci (Sp?) arc, I lost interest. It's just kinda tedious with the bawwwwing and the nakama speeches.

I honestly agree on the friendship thing. I love One Piece but for fuck's sake, I think we get the importance of friendship already.
