| So this way anyone who didn't understand why DMC2 sucked so badly will get an idea.
First let's get the good things out of the way.
Dante's Wardrobe was awesome. THe Final Boss (Argosax and the Despair Emboided) were cool. ANd DDT (Desperate Devil Trigger) looked freaking awesome!
Now for the bad things.
Dante wasn't cocky and a smart ass. THat was the Dante the fans grew up with and we want him back you assholes! You didn't even give a reason for why he was so gloomy in this game! Dante's only Devil Arms weren't even Devil Arms! The only Devil Arm was the Rebellion! The other two weapons were just swords! Just plain swords! You could kill every boss in the game with just the handguns. And I mean easily. This game was too easy! I played it on Dante Must Die difficulty and I beat it within a few hours! Dante's voice sucked. Dante barely talked. Arius was a pretty crappy villain. Lucia was just terrible. Everything about her. She wasn't even that good to look at. The Underwater levels are still embarassingly bad! THe Story was just terrible. Although this doesn't really matter because DMC games have never really been about story. DDT was extremely rigged.
And I think that's about it. If I forgot anything remind me.

Actually he threw fireball things in DDT but that goes under DDT is rigged. If you're talking about regular DT then yes that also falls under the game being too easy.

| Atleast the stunts were Dante-ish, And atleast they allowed you to play as Trish (Who had Dante's original moveset.) But what I never got to do was play as DMC1 Dante, Because I couldn't get passed that tri-headed bastard near the last parts of the game on DMD Mode. >.< | |

Dante wasn't cocky and a smart ass. Dante was smart. Just not as cocky. He just matured.
Dante's only Devil Arms weren't even Devil Arms! The only Devil Arm was the Rebellion! True. No agrument there.
This game was too easy! I played it on Dante Must Die difficulty and I beat it within a few hours! Same. Dante's voice sucked. No. Dante barely talked. Good.
Arius was a pretty crappy villain.
He wasn't the main Villian.
Lucia was just terrible. Her voice was the only terrible thing.
The Underwater levels are still embarassingly bad! True.
THe Story was just terrible. Although this doesn't really matter because DMC games have never really been about story. DDT was extremely rigged. Kinda true. The story could have made for an interesting sequel, Dante escaping hell.
And I think that's about it. If I forgot anything remind me. The fact that Capcom took the easy way out and made this NON CANON. Instead of coming back with a good story. |
