| Yeah that bit really makes up for a dull arc the 2nd thing you mentioned was possibly my favourite single scene in one piece. | |

| - Spoiler:
Yep, and I'm still not sure how the hell he was able to even stand after that. Even Sanji was shocked at the state of him.

| That's why it was so badass though, because he did it yet didn't want anyone to know he'd done it. He doesn't realise that Sanji, Nico and Brooke know. | |

Yeah i think that just made it better, not only that but the serious bromance between sanji and zoro despite acting like they hate each other the whole time (maybe they do and its more they respect each others strength its hard to say).

| Yeah, I just think Zoro and Sanji genuinely don't like each other. They respect each other's strength, and recognise each other's importance to the crew, but they don't like each other. - Spoiler:
Heck, even their zombies in Thriller Bark ended up arguing and then fighting. That said, quite why they were fighting over who was going toself-sacrifice against Kuma is a mystery. Did I miss something or was it just another way to show the incredible sense of camaraderie Luffy has instilled in the crew?

You can take it a bunch of different ways - Spoiler:
I thought a feeling that the one who sacrificed themselves was the better man could make sense i.e. it was essentially another competition to see who was better as they are such intense rivals. I do like to think of it as the comradery thing though as thats generally the nicer way of looking at it. We will ultimately get a picture of this as the whole thing moves along. I'm pretty sure Sanji hints that he does at least care to an extent.

Sanji was obviously worried or concerned in some context because he actually ran off to find Zoro.

| I have to stop watching OP The next dubbed series doesn't come out til April 25th. The worst thing is it's a filler arc so that means even more waiting to get to the story. I'd switch to the subs but I REALLY like the dubbed voices. Piccolo makes a good Zoro and Trunks makes a really good Sanji and so forth and so on. I might read the manga to pass the time but I've never actually read any manga before. Do I have to read it right to left? I don't think I can do that..... | |

| It'll take months before there will be new canon dubbed episodes. FUNi doesn't even have the license for those episodes, let alone went through the entire dubbing process. | |

| If you can watch poorly drawn and animated doodles coloured in with awful pastel colours, you can read a beautifully drawn manga that reads right to left. | |

| And maybe some rights to produce subs for episode 391 and on, but I'm pretty sure those all go through Toei and FUNi's just the middle man. | |

| Next time yall find a good anime buy the DVDs or watch the episodes on FUNi's site/Hulu instead of some shady weeaboo stream site that has uploaded stolen goods in the hopes of destroying evil dubbing companies.
Because guess what. No profit = no new episodes.

| The Davy Back fight has been hilarious. Even the filler bits have been quite entertaining. | |

| Yeah, some bits of it contradict canon but it was still fun. Heck, the the Aokiji encounter is rather different, which threw me. | |

| HAHAHAHAAHA.
I just read lie 20 pages of Romance Dawn backwards on Manga Fox. No wonder it sounded like shit. I thought it was just a bad translation. I have seen manga before and I knew they went right to left but I thought that was only the pages themselves for some stupid reason. God I'm fucking retarded.

The manga is much shorter. There are three canon rounds of the Davy Back fight, the boat race (the scenes were everyone takes part were filler, canonically it's Just Nami, Robin and Usopp v the girl, the shark and the fishman), at which point Chopper is chosen to be a Foxy pirate. The second round (Zoro and Sanji v Groggy Monsters) is pretty much spot on, but in the manga Luffy chooses Chopper at the end of the game and then it moves straight on to the Luffy v Foxy fight, (thus missing out all the multiple rematches, and the bits where they lose Robin and then CHopper again.) At the end, they're chatting to the guy who was on the stilts, when they notice Aokiji - Robin freaks out a little, but Aokiji helps the old guy and the horse by freezing the sea. Then they fight as per the anime, only leaving the Long Island at that point.
