I assumed you were being sarcastic or you fanboy over the game so much you thought people paid to lower its rating.

I've not seen it touched on during the thirty odd pages of the topic so far, but Vita's Remote Play works really well with Destiny. The grenade and melee buttons are assigned to the front touch screen and sprint ss down on the d-pad (conveniently right above the left thumbstick), but everything else important is exactly as it was on DualShock 4. In PvP it can't be a disadvantage having to move your fingers from the stick to hit the touchscreen if you want to use melee/grenades, but otherwise it works really, really, well. PvE is slightly more forgiving, and therefore works fantastically.

Finally got my self up to level 29, and with three of the new Legendary armour pieces and my existing Voidfang Vestments (albeit stuck at light +30) I'm hoping I can eventually get to thirty one with this set up if Xur lets me up grade by the weekend.

Upgrading costs 7k glimmer and an exotic shard, which costs 7 strange coins, whereas buying a new exotic armor costs only 13 coins and you can dismantle your old one for an exotic shard. Just wait for Xur to sell the vestments again.

Glimmer is never going to be an issue. I upgraded Thorn this weekend, and despite it costing 7.5k glimmer, I'm back up to 23k now without even trying. The best argument I can see for buying new ones is that I can use the old ones for PvP, then switch to the new ones when I hand it bounties. Once the new armour has the perks unlocked, shard the old one.

Voidfang isn't even that great a piece of armour in raw stat terms (though my piece seems a few points of strength better off than a lot of others I've seen, mine maxing out at +144), I just really like always spawning with two grenades in PvP. It gives so much flexibility.

Got hold of a new legendary Fusion rifle, the Plug One.1 and it's pretty awesome. Charge time isn't great, but it hits like a truck, has good range and has such good stability that there's virtually no recoil. Took it into Iron Banner and it performed well.

It's only taken three months and newly-empowered vendor gear to do it, but I just hit level 30 with my Warlock.  Yay!

Got another Exotic Bounty Missive as wel, the choice between Super Good Advice, which I don't have, or Pocket Infinity, which I do, albeit in old-school max 300 attack flavour. Hmm. Pocket Infinity it is. Still haven't done the twenty five strikes for Bad Juju, largely because pulse rifles suck, even if I do finish the chain, I'll likely just shard it.

I got Juju's bounty again, but I'm planning to use the weapon this time. I've been using Voidwalker almost exclusively in PvE since I got the Obsidian Mind helmet and Bad Juju has an effect that further reduces the super's cooldown. Spamming nova bombs is pretty fun.
I also want to get the Iron Banner's sniper rifle. Actually two of them; I'll reroll the second one until it gets the Final Round perk so it can oneshot in PvP with a body shot.

I'd also like Iron Banner's sniper, it utterly outclasses my existing legendary snipers.  Currently rank two in IB this time around, and hoping I'll get a bit more play time over the weekend to break the require rank four barrier.

I'm now re-doing the PI exotic bounty, but I've not got any rare fusion rifles, only the four legendary and two exotics.  Come on gunsmith, do me a solid...

Chou, where did you get Obsidian?  It looks ace.

Edit; Just realised I haven't run the weekly for a fortnight, and I've only got three strange coins. I just hope this isn't the weekend that Xur decides to sell Gjallarhorn...

Got it from one of Xur's exotic helmet engrams. It's truly an amazing exotic.
Regarding Iron Banner, I saw some of the old weapons drop earlier today with the updated attack stat, so I've decided to grind the event in hopes of getting the scout rifle or the handcannon and the machine gun.

I wasted 30 motes of light reforging the IB's scout rifle before I realized that new scout rifles cannot get Field Scout. Or Fitted stock.

Did you buy the sniper yet?

Yeah, I bought it. I'm not completely satisfied with the perks I got after rerolling it, but I've already spent most of my motes. I think it needs field scout to be effective in PvE.

I also got the 4th Horseman (new exotic shotgun). Terrible range and reload speed, it doesn't feel exotic at all. Its exotic perk allows it to fire full-auto. It's really a shame because it looks awesome.

I think PSN messaging is finally fixed. Sent and received a message inside two minutes!

Now running my hunter through the weekly, just to help top up my coins. Need to visit Xur, and not sure whether to opt for P&T or the new exotic warlock gauntlets...

Claws of Ahamkara is a great exotic item for both subclasses and it's worth buying if you don't have the Heart of Praxic Fire and Obsidian Mind.
The Vanguard's arc sniper has higher impact than Patience and Time and the armor-piercing rounds perk that allows shooting through walls which is useful in PvP and for cheesing Phogoth. To be fair P&T is also great in PvP, but you won't be able to use your exotic handcannons.

I'm not a huge fan of snipers in PvP as I'm simply not very good with them.  In PvE?  Sure, they make bosses much easier, particularly during Nightfall or Weeklies with the relevant Burn mod.  Given that I dont have a high-end arc Sniper, and do have light level 33 Legendary gauntlets should I still opt for the Claws over P&T?

Edit; Wait, snipers can shoot through walls? Genuinely hadn't realised that.

Any weapon with the armor-piercing perk can shoot through walls, not just snipers. P&T and Ice Breaker don't have this perk, so they can't do it.
I'm also not that good with snipers, but since I use The Last Word, which excels at short to mid range, I don't think running a fusion rifle or a shotgun is a good idea. If I mained Thorn, I'd probably use a shotgun with good range like VoG's Found Verdict or the ones the vendors now sell. IB's shotgun will be extremely good once it becomes available.

To be honest I didn't buy anything new from Xur as I've been neglecting lately the weekly heroics and I don't want to spend too many coins. If I were you I'd buy the claws, which are arguably the second best item for both subclasses in PvE and PvP alike, and the vendor's arc sniper.

I'll likely buy the Claws then and try and get the upgrade for Plan C.

Yeah, what I said above?  That's what I did.  P&T was very tempting, but I'd only really use it for Arc Burn.  

I've been struggling in Iron Banner today, including one game where I simply couldn't get any rhythm going, resulting in the most pathetic score I've ever recorded; 1 kill.  K/D of 0.06.  Yes, you read that right.  Why?  Increasingly frustrated, I was rushing into encounters I should have stayed away from, and I was trying to use an auto rifle and fusion rifle.  Don't see a problem? I suck with auto rifles in PvP, but was trying to get an IB bounty, and the fusion rifle had a hell of a charge time.  Switched back to Thorn and Light/Beware and notched up a much more respectable score next game.  Weird.

It could be lag. I've noticed that a lot of people in IB have poor connections. I've been in a few matches where my shots would literally do no damage at all.

Also, I used my last motes to reroll a few more times the IB sniper and I ended up with possibly the best perk set: mid-range scope, faster reload when the magazine is empty, armor-piercing rounds and final round. My strategy is pretty simple; I dump the first two shots and go for a body shot that will always kill. I killed people hiding behind the wall above zone B in Blind Light, behind the circular object next to zone B in Firebase Delphi and behind the wall of zone B in Twilight Gap. I feel bad for using this beast.

I'm still only rank 2 in IB, though close to 3. How big is that points gap between ranks 3 and 4? I'm still amazed that I didn't know snipers armour-piercing rounds could go through walls.

Managed to get a bit of my mojo back with Autorifles - using my fully upgraded Shadow Price, I switched to a high zoom ADS modifier, fitted field scout to increase mag from 25 to 42 and then just hung back in control zones and capped enemies whilst they engaged the more agressive zone rushers.  Worked quite well.  Also, had one guy score over 11000 points in a single game, with over 50 kills.  I was second or third, but only managed around 2500 in the same period.  He single-handedly won us that game.

11000?! I think the highest I've seen is about 9000.

Yeah, that was by far the highest I've ver seen, hence why i mentioned it. Guys was using Suros and Shotguns for the most part, though not sure what heavy he equipped.

When does Iron banner actually finish?  The website just lists that it runs to the 22, but does it then finish when the weekly reset occurs (which would be 9am on the 23rd UK time), or does it actually stop on the daily update on the 22nd? I'm 1/4 of the way through rank 3, and likely won't have that much more play time today to reach level 4 and get that sniper I wanted.

This, it's just another weekly event. You should buy Saladin's buff and equip the shader, the emblem and the class item to earn more experience.
Also, I think that the 4th horseman is one of the worst exotic weapons in the game. Apparently the exotic perk had originally a different effect (according to the datamined files of the November update it used to be "A single trigger pull fires all four barrels"), but it was nerfed for some reason and now it's just full auto.
