So i have this on ps3, the mrs bought me it on release, but i just found this online so im thinking of trading it in to get it digitally, it works with whichever version you buy aswell so you can get the season pass free on the ps4 if you buy that version
Quote :
This deal includes all of Destiny’s different launch flavours, including the base game, the digital Guardian Edition and the Expansion Pass.
Its a brilliant game btw, i just hate the PvP aspect as im less than useless at these things (CoD players will excel), im just playing capture the flag mode and helping my team with 300ish points in 5 mins

I'd say upgrade to PS4 asap, me and Neo could use some more allies. although there is about 5 or 6 of us already .
And yes, it's a great game, very addictive, but the PvP is nothing special, I haven't even touched it yet, but in the beta, i didn't think it was particularly interesting. PvE is definitely where it's at, but I might do some PvP if it gives out some good loot I can use in PvE.
But the PvE is really good, the story kind of sucks, it's pretty much the same thing every mission, go here, deploy ghost, defend and continue.
But strikes and patrols are really fun to do if you have friends to play with, and the endgame raid promises to be very challenging and rewarding.

I played and enjoyed the Beta on both PS3 and XO, next-gen is definitely worth the upgrade. That said, I haven't yet picked it up due my ever-increasing backlog.

well, all of your stuff is stored online iirc, on their servers, so I'm assuming it will carry over.
You could also try to put some of your best stuff in the vault and see if it'll carry over that way..

I felt like something would be wrong with Destiny. Just something is missing. It's not a bad game, but I feel like something is wrong with it.

My take, based on the Beta, is that it's a very solid shooter with some MMO elements squeezed in at a couple of points and some admittedly very pretty environments, but nothing that really made it stand out. And that was about the sum of it.

just a heads up for everyone, i got an exotic weapon bounty from the tower (?% chance when you level vanguard or crucible up), i had to choose between 3 but it doesnt say what they are, first i had to do the moon strike, after doing this i found out it was a hand cannon, then kill 500 hive on the moon, then i had to get 500 kills in the crucible with a void weapon but with a twist, every time i died i lost one of my kills, after taking the weapon to two folk in the tower i now have to do a level 26 strike on the moon which i cant do yet as i need better gear! I'll keep this updated as soon as im able to do it

I think I'd prefer that to the one I have, I'm still on the second step as it involves completing 25 strikes which takes forever.

can you combine that with the weekly vanguard ones or does it have to be specific strikes? if you're playing i can do some with you as i need better stuff to finish mine

It can be anything thankfully so I'm getting through it, I just can't be bothered doing them all in one go. I'll be on later most likely, can't say exactly when though. I'll definitely help you with the Thorn strike, I've heard it's really hard and want to give it a go. Looks like a cool gun, damage over time and piercing shots on a powerful hand cannon seems crazy.

That's pretty interesting, what's it called? I finished my strikes last night but unfortunately the third step of the quest chain requires me to talk to the special vendor who won't show up for another 24+ hours so I can't progress until the weekend.

So I got this game with PS4 and I got some questions. How do I earn Vanguard and Crucible points and can I change my character's hair?

bountys will help level up them for you, when you fight in the crucible you get 2 points for a loss/draw & 3 for a win, when you get to level 18 you unlock the weekly strikes to get more vanguard points aswell, a maximum of 100 each for vanguard & crucible. your character wears a helmet so there's no hair customization..... im sorry chou

its called the universal remote shotgun, 260/300 attack, has crowd control upgrade so if i kill then it gets more power for a short time (not stackable) & greatly increased range & precision damage while using the sights

Oh I see. Thanks. I saw a vid of someone farming for engrams and I was wondering at what level I should try it.

If you want to farm don't bother until you're level 20, the quality of drops you can get are gated.

I played a bit more of this round a friends, and I'm still not convinced it really does anything like enough to justify the ridiculous levels of hype. The shooting mechanics feels great, that's almost a given, but it simply feels too... empty? Hollow? I'm not sure exactly, but it's missing something.
Case in point, I stumbled across an event, spawning lots of super-tough enemies whilst I tried to defend a single point, yet despite allegedly being a special multiplayer event and therefore throwing several high-ranked enemies at me simultaneously, there was literally no one else on the map. Needless to say, I was murdered repeatedly and failed spectacularly to defend my position. How can a game with MMO aspirations manage to have zero other players around for such an event? The game world is beautiful, but too often it just feels utterly shallow. It's alright, yes, but in terms of multiplayer FPS games, Borderlands 2 was simply much more fun.
