X-Men: Destiny

So it's a game where you play as a mutant striving to become the ultimate gary stu/mary sue.

But seriously, it seems interesting. Hope it actually had a lengthy development time, though. A lot of games seem to flaunt the whole "choice" thing and then turn out to have hardly any depth and major changes based on various decisions at all.

Nope, the game's about two new characters. One's a guy who wants to be a footballer and the other's a young, angsty Japanese girl.

It's not create a character, there's three characteres created for you and you can choose one of them.

But seriously, why does this have PS2 graphics? Why is Gambit evil? Do they think that plot hasn't been done yearly in the comics already??? Why is does Nightcrawler look like his X-2 counterpart? Why does this game have D-listers, but not Kitty? I don't think Surge and Pixie owned Ahmadinejad???

I hope Cyclops and Emma's screentime in this is limited though. I can't stand them anymore and not that long ago they were two of my favourite characters.

Oh yeah, the third one is some prick who was against mutants until he began to start getting powers or somethin' like that.

It looks interesting, I'll probably get it at some point.

From what I gathered from E3, you can evolve your powers along the lines of other mutants.
