| I'm glad about the delay hopefully the game will be patched by then. Apparently there's a few glitches, which don't effect the game being fun, but sound annoying, i.e. the last guy in combat didn't bother to fight you so you have to hunt him down or running in circles to find the sweet spot for the next cutscene.
Its blatent MS tried to get this rushed out for their summer of arcade promo. Hopefully its patched before we get it. Either way I'm still gtting this. I'm really hoping there are higher difficulty settings which make the extra moves in combat a necessity rather than me needing to play by the games rules to get the most out of the game i.e. the difference between yakuza 4 on normal and hard, 3 weren't so bad with that.

After googling reviews for this game, it seems like everyone thinks it's shit. I'd play it just because turtles, but not if it's going to be a genuinely awful game. It might be an idea to see if it really is fixed for PS3 before we all get it.

Also I don't think the game is shit as the gamefaqs boards are very positive. Thats normally the case with good games which have a steep learning curve. Otherwise when i asked about it would've been hounded by haters. There's no issues if you guys want to hold off i'm definitely getting this day one either way as its turtles and i honestly think it wil be fun.

Beat'em ups almost always universally have bad reviews, i.e. the yakuza games were getting 6/7 out of 10, god hand, urban reign and those were all great. Decent beatem ups also get shit scores. I don't doubt this will be fun. Hopefully there is a patch to fix the more stupid issues.

| Given the problems on xbox and steam its actually a good thing. It costs money to put a patch up and it will likely not cost them to patch it in one go. A lot of companies wait till they get enough sales to see if it warrant a patch, so i guess this works in our favour though I am annoyed. | |

| I think it's a good thing. As Buu said, it can really only mean they're fixing things - no point in delaying it otherwise. | |

| latest news from the psn release (still no date)
Progress update on the PSN release:
1) The devs are still working ‘round the clock on this. We know the delay is frustrating, but we firmly believe that in the end, it will be worth it because the game will of a higher quality. Thanks for bearing with us.
2) Right now, our priority is on giving the developers the space they need to polish the game. That kind of work is very hard to estimate, so to give them flexibility, we're not going to announce a release date until we're 100% certain we can make it.
3) Several fans have written in to ask us about dates they received from clerks at their local retail outlets. We want to be clear on this point: we do not yet have an official release date for the PSN version, and no retailer has been given an official date, either.
Retailers often put placeholder dates into their systems with the intent of changing them once the game’s final release is confirmed. Unfortunately, this isn't always made clear to the clerks in the stores, and that's where the confusion starts. We’ve reached out to the retailers in question and asked them to clarify things with their clerks and customers where applicable. If you see anyone arguing over different dates they got from different people, please direct them to this post.
4) Once again, TMNT: Out of the Shadows is still coming to the Playstation Network. While we don't yet have a date, we can say that we're pleased with the progress so far, and hope to have a date very soon. Thanks again for your patience, and we’ll bring you more news as soon as possible.

| You're embarrassing yourself with all this Raph love, TBB. But if that's what you need to accept the character you've taken, then I won't try and stop you. | |

| There is certainly nothing wrong with some appreciation of turtles, you'd have to be some sort of monster to not like them. I was really just referring to Raphael specifically. | |

Given teh delay seemed to be bigger than the development time for the 360 version I'd say yes. I'll buy it day 1 regardless so i'll let you know.
