What level is everyone at with their main? I've just cleared the Lost Woods, opening up online play, and I'm lvl 23.

Sadly, I probably won't get to play much the next couple of days because I've got a new kitchen being delivered today, which I've got to fit tomorrow and Friday, then have someone qualified to come and install the cooker.

i think i was level 19 or 20 with my fighter

I cleared the Lost Woods at level 12.

did you do any of the side quests? i havnt done any yet but i dont want to be under levelled as sim & buu are 20ish

I didn't do any of them.

I've done around a dozen or so side-quests now, around level 25. Haven't done any of the talisman quests yet though, just been trying to get some skill points.

Dude hold up, if you're in the online bit you'll have to redo it all with us to catch up anyways.

I'll be caught up in an hour or two. Not sure about TTB.

I've done all I'm going to do for a couple of days, my kitchen-fitting escapade should give everyone else a chance to catch up. Then we can start stoving some heads in.

My Wizard is good to go.

just finished the woods so i think im good to go online now, only level 11 or 12 like moose tho as i haven't done sides

Buu and I are tyring to do a quick run now, but not having much luck connecting.

The Lost Woods B route boss is great.

I was so pleased to see that after I themed my Wizard as Tim the Enchanter.

I got to say i love this game I might try and get a third character up to the online section.

I've been deliberately holding off on the B routes, with a view to doing them as a group.

I got this for the vita but i still havent started it yet though.

Elf is the only character I found boring to play. You can play her a few ways, the most effective way is freaking boring though, I can one shot most things, but wow is it dull.

So did anyone get the Armand reference? Or even know who Armand is? I couldn't stop raving once I saw the wizard.

As in the vampire? Whats the reference it must've gone over my head, this game has 100s of cultural refereences.

Just FYI there's a very dedicated Monty Python reference in this game

Armand is the wizard in Shining Soul II Looks pretty much identical to the DC char, and of course, same company.

Incidentally, took a break from doing the kitchen and blasted through the last couple of B routes. Firstly, the level cap in normal mode is 35. You still gain exp, you just won't gain levels. Having beaten the game (including a huge yet rather underwhelming final boss), you unlock a couple more modes which I haven't yet touched, including a tower attack-thingy, which promises high-end loot. In hard mode, the level cap is 65 and you need to reclaim all the talismans again, only this time the bosses have levelled considerably - making this more palatable is the fact that you have access to more prayers now, so you can buff your score more easily, and that hard mode rewards you with 50% of your score as EXP, rather than the 10% that normal mode did. Should make levelling much, much faster.
