| The CG scene on the way to the Rabbit is Tim the Enchanter.
I thought we were waiting for people to catch up before finishing the game as a group?

| Yes thats what I thought, its no problem, i guess this means we won't need to wait up. Simian won't be able to coop with us until we get to hard I don't think. | |

| I can still play normal mode, you can switch at will by visiting the temple and praying, I just don't know how much time I'll have to do co-op at any length. I might be able to grab an hour here or there, but not to do 3 or four hour sessions.
If you guys want to finish normal, and we'll tackle hard together (which is, as you'd expect, significantly tougher, even normal enemies tanking my Sorceress best shots), that's absolutely fine.

| On Hard mode, yes. On normal, I'm not actually sure. If I do, it wouldn't be hard now, the only boss that gave me any trouble on my jack jones was the Wraith. He was a bastard. Also, apologies if I've ruined the game plan by finishing ahead of everyone; I was aware that TTB's Dwarf had gone up twenty levels in a day, out-levelling me by a few, and given how smoothly things went on our run the other day, I'd have thought you'd have nailed it earlier today. So yeah, sorry if I cocked things up.
On the plus side, I've just finished re-plastering the kitchen where we tore the old tiles off. The down side is, I've got to leave it 24 hours to set before I can sand it. Then I've got to paint the wall. Then I can finally tile it. And I bloody hate tiling. There's a reason I like being useless at DIY; it means I don't get asked to do it very often.

Oh its not a problem, I was just trying to make sure everyone had people to play with. I'll help out Moose later so he can catch up, well if he wants.

To clarify, yes, once you've beaten the game, you'll need to reobtain the talismans, even on normal mode. This means you can't farm the end boss (who rewards you with S rank goodies).

| Oh, and there's an easier way to beat arguably the most challenging boss... - Spoiler:
The Red Dragon. When you reach his gold chamber, there's a door on the right hand side of the screen that you can unlock and move into. This changes the dynamic of the fight; You have a linear path running left to right, and the Red Dragon will essentially take up the left side of the screen and slowly march towards you. There are crates will food in scattered along the path, there are catapults which can cause huge damage (over 6500 per shot) and there are Magic Shields which can block his fire breath attacks. It still takes a while but is infinitely more manageable than trying to fight him in the big room. Not sure how we didn't notice that the first time through, but there you go.

| We knew the door was there, we didn't go through it because doing the exact same thing on other bosses had resulted in no talisman being rewarded. | |

| Really? I'd swear I still got the talisman. | |

| I believe you, the point is we had no way of knowing that THAT door would still let you get the talisman when all the other doors previously hadn't. | |

| Fair enough, it does seem an odd inconsistency. | |

| The fact that you can walk right by the boss without the fight starting to get to the door should be an indication that the door is a viable option. No levels let you skip the boss fight altogether. | |

But me wrecking that boss for you was awesome. I didn't need to run.

| Has anyone had any real stab at hard mode yet? I think I've fought two A route bosses and that's been about it. Level 37 feels woefully under levelled for some parts of hard mode. | |

| At level 35 I did 2/3 dungeons, I think i hit the high 40s in one chain (5/6 dungeons) with neo.
There doesn't seem to be anything hard about A routes on Hard, the only tricky thing is the Warlock seems to spawn a lot more enemies. I haven't fought the gazer but i'm guessing he'll be tough.

| I've not played for a couple of days, so I guess you guys have a pretty good lead on me again. | |
