Does anyone know if a concise summary of the series, up to the end of ADwD, exists? I really need to refresh my memory but don't have nearly enough time to reread the books.

Tower of the Hand has everything from AGOT - AFFC. The ASOIAF wiki's summaries are not as good, but they have the entire story up to the end of ADWD.

Really loved the scene with Tyrion and Tywin, good episode in general and Maergery is great.

One of the best episodes of the show. Hit every mark perfectly (with the exception of Catelyn's little confession about Jon, which was completely out-of-character).

also, damn that last scene...I'm not even really a fan of Jamie...but all week when I think about it, it've just been thinking: fucking hell, that sucks so hard.. that was like the first time I was genuinely shocked about somethign that happened.

Don't worry, I don't think it's a spoiler to say it helps his character development in some way.

Definitely sucks for him though. Renowned swordsman loses his sword hand.
