After seeing some OnlyPractice matches, I finally remembered how Leo's combos work. I had forgotten all about that little u/f+1 that links everything together.
Leo doesn't seem to have changed much. A new launch that's telegraphed to hell and back and hits high, a new NC string from the d+1+2 stance that's punishable on block, and CH1 from d+1+2 no longer stuns. I mean you could wiggle out of the stun in T6 but it at least gave a chance for a launch. Still no way to bound from CHb+1 either. WS2 looks to be her only useful switch-out move.
I remember how she works now but I still suck. And not just in the "I'm okay but not great" sense, I really suck. I reckon I lose about 75% of the time.
You can do d/b+2, d/b+21, f+21~f SEd/f+1 though. At least of off f+1+2. Pretty sure it worked with other launchers too. I'll try it out again.
You're right about this. I don't like it though because I can't get any decent TA!s to connect. Makes the d/1, d/b2- ender harder too. For some reason, if you B! with d/b2-SE d/f1, you only need one dash for the above ender.
Forest's damage is retarded. Since my execution is shit and I can't play Jin, I may finally pick him up.
Moose, you aren't as bad as you say. You just need to stop whiffing stuff and start punishing moves you blocked. Playing a bit "cheaper" wouldn't be a bad idea too. Use a few more lows and throws. One thing I like to do with Lars is mixing ff43 with u/f4 after a d/b4; you always go for a mid/high move.
There are many characters I'd like to learn, but, because I know this isn't possible, I'll be focusing on those who aren't too hard (so Lars, Lee, Jin, Forest and maybe Lili and Slim Bob). I'll be probably playing this game for years, so it should be doable.
Also I got my first hatemails. One from a solo Tiger, one from a solo Lee, who spammed d4444 of course, and a final one from a Kazuya and Bryan player... who complained about me using top tiers.

How is this game holding up? I've been looking at Tekken from the sidelines for years after Tekken 5.

I quite like Anna in this game. She felt really awkward in Tekken 6 but now she has some interesting juggle and wall carry options, and a crouch dash which I always like. I need to work out her poke/punish game though. Struggling with that at the moment.

It's arguably the best 3D fighter ever made. It's also very fun, has a lot of content and the netcode is awesome. However, it's not easy for beginners. Unless you're willing to invest some time, you will have a hard time.

Kane's Lili is amazing.

Mind giving some kind of time indicator for that 3 hour long video?
That's a great channel for Korean matches. Just search for whatever character you want.

I was honestly not sure what you were talking about at first though, he was getting his shit pushed in by that Jinpachi up until the third round.

Wow, watching the American players after watching the Koreans, there's a world of difference. The Koreans are so much better at movement. They're better at everything else too, but the movement really stands out.
Hooray, my first hatemail. I was playing as Anna and Leo and I beat a Baek/Wang team who mostly used 10 strings. The respone I got was "winning is easy by spamming overpowered characters".
