So was I the only one who enjoyed Revenge of the Fallen?

I quite enjoyed the first one, yeah. I was expecting Vampire High School Musical, and it was quite a pleasant surprise. I'm not a Twilight fan, I'm not going to read the books or anything like that, and the second film was utter tosh, but the first film was certainly better than I'd expected.

The only thing I'm sore about is the lack of Side Swipe screentime. More sideswipe nao damnit.

I own it on DVD.

well I was joking around about the next plot for Transformers 3. Just thinking about Unicron making an appearance and this and that is what happened.

Beast Wars didn't come out until the mid 90s. Ergo, he means the original transformer cartoon from the 80s.

well I was a kid in mid-90s? And the 80's toon was repeated in the 90's as well. Even now I can watch it on Teletoon Retro. Only difference and I can remember Beast Wars better ( i actually payed attention).

Anyway, just watched it. The giant robot fights were pretty much the only good thing about it, and they were very enjoyable. Plus, it's just always fun to see them transform, especially when they go out of their to have the camera swoop around all over the place. The film is basically saying "Are you seeing this audience? It's fucking cool right?", and I like it.

Even the fights were dissappointing. Optimus defeating Megatron in 40 seconds. Are you kidding me?

Devastator seemed utterly pointless though. They really needed him just to knock off the top of the pyramid?

I didn't care for ROTF much. I don't hate it as much as people do but it's nothing good either. It's just your typical Autobots vs Decepticons movie made longer than it should have been.

I'm looking forward to the third considering some of the writting staff have been replaced.

Replacing the director wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Probably the only thing I'm dreading is the LP theme song for the film. They'll probably work its lame melody into the score as well like they did with their song for ROTF.

I liked RotF. It wasn't a patch on the original, but it was decent enough popcorn fodder, and it looks great on Blu Ray.

They were the least funny thing in the film. And this is a film where a mini Decepticon humps Megan Fox's leg. That wasn't funny at all, and it was still better than the twins.
