Did we really need a sequel? Chances are Michael Bay's just gonna rig it with nothing but special effects just like the last one.

The first film was better than it had any right to be. I have unfeasably high hopes for this.

I never said it was bad. I just said did we need a sequel? Because even though the last one was awesome, it had an anti-climactic ending. Same as Iron Man really.

Speaking of which, I do wonder how they're going to bring Megatron back. After all, wasn't his power source utterly fucked up? And then he was dropped into the ocean where he would be crushed by the pressure / frozen by the temperature?

Heh, yeah I know what you mean. I'd like to have seen Prime knock him on his arse, rather than being utterly outclassed, especially as they were always equals when I was growing up with them twenty years ago.

I don't mind LeBeouf, he's a decent actor, he's just in a lot of stuff at the moment. Indy 4 sucked though.

It's not like Optimus Prime's speech at the the end foreshadowed more friends coming to Earth. It's not like Starscream
foreshadowed Decepticons returning in a "YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS, CAPTAIN PLANET!" fashion without the "YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS..." line.

Anyways, if it had an anti-climactic ending, wouldn't that give it more reason to make a more amazing ending in a sequel(no doubt there'll be at least a 3rd one with Unicron in it though)? And isn't it acceptable to have a meh-worthy ending the first time if there's going to be a sequel? This series is no doubt going to be at least a trilogy, possibly more, but a trilogy for sure(with the writers wanting to shove Unicron in this and all, plus, The Fallen is called "The Fallen" for a reason related to Unicron).

Besides, the first film barely had a good amount of Transformers, having JUST THAT would be an insult. I heard they're using an idea from Transformers Armada for this film though. What is it? Minicrons? ROFL. Actually, that'd be fucking awesome. >_>
