was kinda cool that wolverine was stabby happy
but the thor one was considerably better then the wolverine one

| Oddly, just seen the pair of them on consecutive days. Wolvie first of all, and it was... alright. It nailed the characters pretty well, with Wolverine being very much the stab happy nutjob shown in the films and the Origins game, and had a good supporting cast of villains (Deathstrike, Sabretooth and Deadpool among them), though I felt the end a little trite... - Spoiler:
The film opens with Hulk smashing the shit outta Wolverine. The final shot is Hulk, having annihilated everyone else in his way, facing Wolverine, with the pair of them jumping into a horribly cliched slowmo clash before it fades out as they near each other. I know he loves to fight, but would even Wolverine want to try his luck after getting squashed so easily earlier on?
So yeah, not bad. Thor was better though. Loki brings Banner to Asgard during the Odinsleep, and manages to separate Banner and the Hulk, binding himself to Hulk solely to fight Thor on even terms. Of course, he can't control Hulk and Hulk ends up rampaging free. Thor then has to find a way to stop the Hulk from destroying the whole realm (including the sleeping Odin). The fight was brutal, and whilst the pacing flags around two thirds of the way in, the ending felt very in character for all concerned.

| Marvel animated features suck. Especially the ones not based off of something already in comic form. | |
