Typically arse-about-face, I finally got round to reading this the last couple of days, about six months after I read the sequel, World War Hulk. PH is much better though, partly as I really didn't like the art style used for much of WWH, and Hulk was so overwhelming as to be utterly boring. PH at least mixes things up a bit and allows us to feel a bit of sympathy for the green brute, something WWH sorely lacked.
Hulk isn't my favourite Marvel hero, not by a long chalk, but I think this was the best Hulk story I've seen for a good few years.
