My copy of Tekken 6 arrived today

Surprised to see Lee at the top. He always seemed quite straightforward to me.

I found it a few months ago on TZ.com and I thought it looked nice. Here's the translation by one of their members:

Top group (Difficult): Capos, Yoshi, Steve, Ling, Lei, Zafina are all difficult to use due to their stances. Baek and Raven are difficult because they have so many move options to choose from. Lee, Nina and Bruce are very good but their ability to wall carry requires pretty good skill. Bryan is in there because of taunt. Lars apparently has "hard juggles" (bullshit). Marduk has difficult juggles too because of f, f +1 +2 enders.

Middle group (Average): Julia and Law have relatively difficult juggles, but their ground moves are quite good. Mishimas are in here because of technical skill requirements, according to this ewgf and hs is all you need lol. Wang is shit but waning moon is good, Ganryu is ok but decent moves. Feng's commands are easy but you need to "think a lot". Hwoarang has a lot of options from his flamingo stances but they aren't that good. I suppose that's where the fact that I've bothered to actually learn a character properly comes in.

But from that description, Alisa really does belong right down there at the bottom.

Haven't tried her yet. But I practiced a bit with Lars and he's really easy. Only "hard" thing execution wise is his best bound move because of it's forward-backward motion (which isn't that hard actually) and his air grab (which is unnecessary to use).

Alisa has a couple good B! moves, but d/f+2 pretty much her only capable launcher, and it's fairly slow. Leo belongs down there too.

I haven't played much out of Scenario Campaign yet. I have only tried Steve and checked Lars' movelist. For the Arena mode I relied on mashing jabs to defeat Azazel. I remember reading somewhere though that Alisa doesn't need juggles much because of her amazing pokes.

Yeah, I heard that too. But like I said I've yet to actually bother learn anyone on a competitive level. I just figure out what I need to beat the AI, which juggles, juggles, juggles. Outside of SC I've just played Ghost Battle with Alisa and Jin so far. Haven't bothered with the Arena yet really, just went through it once with Lili. Azazel pissed me off until I realised that he was so big you could land just about any move on him from a launcher, and sidestep the big jump he does while getting up. Spammed the same juggle a few times and beat him.

And I just found out that it had the custom soundtrack feature.

After trying out Jack for SC mode. (His dialogue is epic. XD) I took up Jack as a favorite. I even pimped him out with an all red Armor set. Gave him the claw thingy and the mini-gun for a hand. As well as cannon's on his back. Yep, He is pimp. ...Ofcourse, His primary attaire is comprised of shit I've collected throughout SC mode to make him the mean machine he really is. I especially love how much damage he can do on the bosses. ...Ofcourse, It might also be because I've gained some extra strength from beating SC mode already. (Don't really know if that's true or not. All I know is Jack is killer on them bosses.)

f i were to play this, i'd probably play as lars--call it impressionable youth, but his exhibition vid reminded me of a superhero (zetman, not superman and the like)

The online seems to have improved a bit. Played a couple matches with almost no noticeable lag. It depends on the connection though, of course. I also fought a guy with a 2 bar connection, lagged like hell, got disconnected half way through.

And as annoying as Alisa is in Scenario Campaign ("Ooh, I'm a robot but I think I'm human, and I speak politely in a meek voice whatever the situation and I don't understand human emotions properly and gets things a bit mixed up sometimes and was obviously specifically designed make every Japanese/Wapanese geek in the world cream his pants"), I think she'll probably end up being my main.

ignore the attitude and use the character--you've taken a step farther than baal on the road to humanity.

I'm perfectly humane. Why would I use a character if I didn't like them?

for one of his costumes. that doesnt make it some unremovable part of his character

I fought someone with a five bar connection and it was laggiest match I've had so far...
And ranked matches suck. Everyone's using Kazuya's u/f +4,4,4,4, Lee's d + 4,4,4,4, Devil Jin's lasers or Alisa's missile.

Haven't bothered with Ranked. I haven't bothered with online at all really apart from fighting you.

I think I might try to pick Heihachi up as a main too. He seem quite good.

Meh, played it, wasn't really impressed. It feels exactly the same as Tekken Tag did way back when that was released, and the online isn't much better than Dark Resurrection's; I had a couple of four bar matches that were unplayable. I think i'll stick with SCIV and SFIV.

God, why do people make their characters look so ugly? Most customisations I've encountered so far online are atrocious. On top of that, some idiot sent me a message saying "he look GAY LOL" about my perfectly stylish Steve today.

The cool thing is Tekken 6 actually has a screenshot feature. You can press the home button and go to the Photo bit, and there's an option to take a screenshot.
