Can't remember that well, but it's not bad.

Lars has no f+4 moves that I can think of. f+24 is decent for walls.

YES! Got a bit of streak and finally busted out the blue ranks. Lars is now a Rogue. Let's see if I can actually keep it.

Checking my records I've put just over 90 hours into this game since I got it on the day I started this thread.

I still get my ass kicked by Steves. He's the one character that when he pops up I think "Shit, I'm going to lose".
Well, Asuka too, but for different reasons.

oh so i had a go on this my bro has it its better then 4 and 5, but i dunno i'm not feeling this game, i can see ppl being really annoying online (like kikcing you constantly when your on the floor)
also seems like its very easy to killl someone after landing one pop up to combo death
if i pop online will be for SSF4

There's various ways to get up to avoid stuff like that if you're good enough.

i've not had enough of a play through on this one i was just trying to familarise my self with the new characters
lili seemed pretty good though and i quite liked leo
my classic good characters were paul/king/kazuya but thats mainly going back to tekken 2 and 3 when i was a hardcore good player, and could pull off every combo in game with any character
that meant i was still good at 4 and 5 even though i never played them thoroughly
but some aspect of control mechanic s has changed in this one, either moves i previously knew have been removed or timings have been changed to be slower, which is irritating

Tekken 6 was a relatively small change considering the massive variation from 3 to 4, and then from 4 to 5 which was more like 3 again. But a lot of characters were changed quite a lot.

i never noticed that only player that caused me a trouble playing was that guy called fen for some reason i couldn't work out his moves (i never use move lists to learn to play with a character, cause i can work out a combo by looking at character movements, although a few exceptions i.e. throw combos)

The Bound mechanic forced them to revamp everyone's moveset to some extent, or to change properties of existing moves.

After launching someone, certain moves will hit them back to the ground and make them bounce a bit so you can continue the combo. I heard they added it to make the combo system more accessible.

I'm not particularly fond of the bound system. Take a look at Bruce (2:50) carrying King from one side of the stage to the other:
This is ridiculous, as then you have to be very careful (or guess right) not to get hit again for a wall combo. No wonder that both players who have reached the highest rank possible so far use Bryan. His juggles carry the opponent almost as far as Bruce's and he has the strongest wall-game.

abusable moves is poor game mechanics IMO
i'm curious if there is anything abusable in SF4 to ruin the online experience
fortunately in that you can't kick your opponent on the floor which is a plus
