My copy of Tekken 6 arrived today

Those are some cool combos. Best I've been able to think up in practice mode is 110 damage one.

Also got my first bit of Lili hate mail yesterday as well. From someone who beat me no less. It was weird.

And today I beat a King player, who then pestered me for a rematch for about 15 minutes. Finally accepted, he picked Law, I beat him again, and I haven't heard from him since.

So got the update a while back today. No fucking change at all, same input lag, same frame rate lag and so forth. Clearly Namco hates Australia. Seriously looks like I'll just have to change my internet plan and hope it's fast enough to satisfy their bullshit netcode.

It's sad when you put for sale a hyped up game like Tekken 6 and get its online kicked ass by the greatest LAGLESS(never will lag, ever) online mode in A FUCKING MOVIE game ever, Transformers 2.

Yeah, it seems Australia got screwed. But it's awesome for me. Just played my first match with it, and even though a green connection was pretty good before, the difference was immediately noticeable. Everything much faster and more responsive.

Random disconnecting still happens though. Maybe it's because I'm wireless.

It's hilarious how they didn't bother putting Australia in the area search either.

Slight downside is that it takes longer to find a match now because people can cancel.

I played a couple of matches yesterday. Barely noticed any difference since all I encountered were characters like Kuma, Wang and Ganryu... I don't even know their moves to begin with.

I set search priority to RANK and I've been fighting only Beginners and Kyus. AND I'M A WARRIOR!

I'm almost 20 ranks above of what I've been fighting. On top of that everyone is using fucking Chreddy.

Yeah, the search settings aren't great. I usually just go with connection rather than rank, but on the times I have done it by rank I usually end up fighting then lower Dans.

You're a Warrior? Damn. I got up to Master and then got beat down to 4th Dan again. I'm still trying to get my Ranked win record above 50%. It's 92/100 or something at the moment I think. Counting player matches it's about 320/240 or something.

Oh, I can imagine a good Xaioyu player would be tough, what with some of her combos that can be chained together. Could cause quite a bit of damage. Haven't run into any though.

Ling's one those characters where anyone who plays has to at least quite good. Otherwise Ling's utter shit.

I just fought the worst player I've ever fought. It was a Paul who just did the same single jab for the entire match.

Qualification rounds for the Norwegian Championship are being held tomorrow. Might go and watch if I have absolutely nothing better to do.

I feel like learning some new soon. I have no idea who though, no other characters are that appealing to me. Don't feel like properly learning Heihachi or Alisa. There's still 3 or 4 of the cast I haven't actually tried yet I think. Might be fun to actually learn Devil Jin rather than just flying around and shooting lasers like most of the D. Jins online.

Learn Lars. And then teach me.

Well, who do you already use? You dont see many Miguels running around. Considered him?

Didn't really like Miguel. Or Lars. Miguel's just a bit stupid and Lars seems kind of limited in terms of juggles, although he hits fucking hard.

Have you considered Roger?
