Japanese title: “Liu Xing Long! Find a Weakness to the Great Whirlwind Attack” English title: “The Six-Star Dragon”
Oceanus Shenron = Liu Xing Long.
Princess Oto is just called the Princess in the original.
Dub Goku says that this was Pan’s very first Kamehameha, even though she’s been doing them all the time throughout the series. She even did one two episodes right beside Goku!
The blonde kid’s name was originally something like Bish, but was changed to Colm. He also gets a retarded Irish accent and he is voiced by HOLY SHIT COLLEEN CLINKENBEARD?! Would’ve never noticed that. I’m gonna need a whole bunch of dub Luffy to wipe that voice away.
Japanese title: “Bulma in Action! The Project to Rebuild Vegeta” English title: “The Heart of the Prince”
Dialogue in the flashback of Goku and Vegeta’s little talk before their first fight is still wrong. So is the Kamehameha/Gallic Gun dialogue and the dialogue when Vegeta escapes from Earth. And so is Vegeta’s death scene in the Freeza saga (was nice to hear Schemmel act that scene out without a pisspoor performance though).
In the original it is explained that Baby Vegeta didn’t become SSJ4 because of Baby’s cells. In the dub they’re clueless as to why Baby didn’t become a SSJ4.
Also, at the end of the series of flashbacks original Vegeta says that ever since the Kid Buu battle he has accepted Goku as number one and he now strives to just surpass his own limits. Dub Vegeta refuses to be like that and wants to beat Goku yet again. More character development down the shitter.
Japanese title: “Commence Counterattack! Surpass Super Saiyan 4” English title: “Shadow Dragons Unite”
Goku calls his new powered up form Ultra-full-power Saiyan 4 in the original.
Goku catches the clock because he could hear the sound of it with his ears. In the dub it’s because he can see even though he’s blind. >_>
Omega Shenron is a dub name. In the original he’s still called Yi. I also don’t see why Syn and Omega have different voice actors. Syn is voiced by Bob Carter and Omega is voiced By Mr. Sabat. It’s probably because if Sabat didn’t voice Omega, he’d only be voicing two characters in this series and that’s just wrong.
Japanese title: “I’ll Win For Sure! Goku Eats Si Xing Qiu” English title: “The Limits of Power”
Dub Goku makes yet another heroic speech about doing good and what not that is completely out of character, but what really makes it horrible this time is that Vegeta joins him in making the heroic speech.
This episode had another moment where the Gotenks fusion was shot down. I don’t really see why because surely a fusion between two SSJ3s can create quite powerhouse, amirite?
Japanese title: “Farewell, Goku... Until the Day We Meet Again” English title: “Until We Meet Again...”
Just one thing about this episode really: in the original Pan says that Goku must’ve returned after she sees him in the Budokai. In the dub, she thinks it’s a hallucination.
As for endings, I’ll let you choose which one is best. I like the original the best, since the dub music is flat out retarded and the remastered version is too “crowded” if you get what I mean. Really like Goku’s “Till we meet again, guys!” at the end though.
Original:
Dub:
Remastered:
Also, this is probably one of the best Dragon Ball episodes ever made.

Japanese title: “Goku’s Side Story! Si Xing Qiu is a Testament to Courage” English title: “A Hero’s Legacy”
Only in the dub is it mentioned that 100 years have passed since Baby’s defeat.
And that’s all! This (pretty cool) special was dubbed wonderfully. Almost dead on script, great voices, no stupid accents and Schemmel did great in the last scene. I really have no bad thing to say about this special at all.
