when I played it online from March 2008 to May 14, 2008. I suddenly stopped playing because I didn't think the game had more to offer, then there was the online politics I couldn't take anymore, and I thought how head shots were done were too big a deal. Anyway, here they are...

Yeah, I took that photo as proof I was no longer considered a newbie by Konami, which is partially the reason why my sig quote from Kaihaku_Kitsune, one of the greatest players in MPO+, is there.

Going back on topic, though, you ever played MPO+ that much?

I played the original Portable Ops. I own it, actually.

I really don't like the online mode for that game. I hate MGO on the PS3, also.

Seeing as I don't have a PS3, much less capable of getting one anytime soon, I couldn't tell you what I thought of Metal Gear Online myself. It's probably more of the same with a few unique tweaks, I guess.

It's pretty much exactly the same.

The biggest difference is that instead of using random soldiers you find in the main game, you use a custom soldier you create and modify as you go. You get to pick what kind of skills you want, and what weapons you're good with.

Oh well. Guess I'm not missing anything then except for a good story for the main game, Guns of the Patriots.

I really enjoy MGO and dislike the portable version. There were just too many hackers in that game to enjoy it. I didn't bother with + because of the lack of story although the new cameo's would have been fun

I admit that there were a great deal of hackers in MPO+ and in the original. But the soldiers I had were legitimate except for perhaps Two-Han Princess, and a few others were a gift trade from Kaihaku_Kitsune and his guys.
