Zero plays Metal Gear Solid

Yes, I've never picked up the series till now. I bought Twin Snakes so it's time to start. I played one of the MGS demos a long time ago and forgot about the series and I've played the MGS4 demo and it's time I play through the 4 main games. I'll be posting updates while I play the game.

MGS2 sucks.

i liked the firt section of MGS2 a lot

But that was only an hour or so long.

the vr missions and snake tales were good to and i enjoyed the sateb9oarding even if it was gimmicky

Well the opening was pretty cool. I can already tell that Snake is going to be a hardcore badass XD.

Well it's kinda weird that they don't tell you how to play and you gotta figure out all the controls. Some of them are a little hard to get used to.

Ocelot is pretty cool. The fight with him is pretty easy once you get the pattern.

I prefer Twin Snakes to the original, but that's just me, I think.

What is the difference between them besides the graphics?

Twin Snakes has more cinematic cutscenes.

Oh, then Twin Snakes was a good pickup. Anyway, my power surged and I lost all my data from the game and I need to start over. I got up to the tank guy after Meryl is first called on the codec.

you'll fly through that part this time it takes ages the first time when your not used to the controls

and twin snakes is generally disliked as it brings up questions about characters in some of the cutscenes i.e. physical feats and such which people argue over the canonicity

also easier as you have more tools if you got the tranq gun then it must be stupidly easy i've not played it though

Never mind. That's weird that you have to call Mei Ling to save. Oh well. Anyways, the fight with Mantis was pretty unique. The story is progressing well so far.

Zero only copies the other people's format. You never know.

Twin snakes is no more outrageous than any other Metal Gear Solid game. MGS2, 3 and 4... all of them are as fucking nuts as the first one and I love them for it.

And even then we had legitimately good reasons for liking it compared to, "I HAD TO ACTUALLY PLAY AS A CHARACTER WHO ISN'T SNAKE, BAWWW!"

Because those virtually were both of your entire reasons.
