just played table tennis, i lol'd a lot when i did a heat move with akiyama and knocked the ball into the girls boobs.i'll add this to my favorite mini games along with karaoke, cho-han, and cee-lo.

there is also this mini game at the hot springs where you button mash to imagine what your date looks like taking a bath. lol akiyama <3

just finished playing akiyama gonna miss him and his awesomeness

now i'm forced to play saejima, he isn't too bad i just don't like fact that he is so damn slow, but his charge combos do a shit load of damage.but his back story is pretty cool. then again

lmfao instead of using a camera phone for revelations, saejima uses a chisel and a chunk of wood to sculpt his new move

i also almost panicked when i fought his second boss

saejima needs to avoid police too. not sure what happens if you get caught by them though

Started playing as Akiyama. Funny guy and stylish, but the hostesses stuff are annoying.

i think the only thing you get from training hostesses is the fact that the other characters can date them, i think. but you get 10,000 exp for maxing out a relationship with one, which is a lot in this yakuza game

Exactly thats why i lept saying the cuts were basically a bonus in Yakuza 3.

I mean we got the missions, you could versus them in games if you really cared but none of the time wasting in the hostess clubs or money wasting.

starting training guys with saejima, apparently they're future tag partners for the coliseum. training them is no where near as tedious, but watching them fight can be as bad almost as bad as getting your nuts kicked in.

my first guy could take down his opponents in two god damn combos but still lost from just standing there and making stupid moves.

my second guy just lost two one million yen contests despite fighting PERFECTLY up till he dropped his opponents health down to one hit left, then, he decided to become a punching bag

great my third student is a lazy asshole looking for a free pass....

got to tanimura, i'm not to great with him. his impact on the story and his unique interaction with kamurocho makes me enjoy playing him though

tanimura can get radio signals from his police scanner and and proceed to the crime scene. sort of like extra substories for him that appear as you run around kamurocho. they don't count as substories and you don't get exp aside from what you get from beating enemies, but you can pull in a decent amount of cash.

some radio signals are necessary to proceed with some substories too

Saejima's fighting style is very monotonous. I miss Akiyama and his super-fast kicks that built crazy meter. And his classy suit.
I'm considering clearing the training sidequest and the coliseum after I finish the main story.

saejima's revelation moves are very brutal in an awesome way though.

I found Saejima's revelations disappointing compared to Akiyama's. Akiyama's were waaaay funnier and I didn't actually have to try to activate them in battle.

two of them are easy to use though just square triangle charge and you can use it.

tanimura's aren't that much funnier and kazuma shares his with both akiyama and saejima unfortunately

with that said i'm obviously playing as kazuma now and it is good to see he is still a beast even at level 1. i'm actually pretty close to uniting them all already. can't wait to be akiyama again :3

at level one you already have an ass load of skills unlocked and with the removal of the super heat oves they have been kept as either red heat moves or low health heat moves.

last chapter time to play table tennis and sing karaoke with akiyama and max every ones level later on today

Tanimura's chapters (and the character) were mind-blowingly awesome. Easily my favourite part of the game. Kiryu's part was okay I guess, nothing really special, but the character himself is great, so I didn't really mind. Also, the plot at this point had become laughably ridiculous. I found the final chapter way less atmospheric compared to Y3. If I had to rank each chapter separately, I'd say:

Tanimura >>> Akiyama >>> Kiryu + Final >>>>>> Saejima

EDIT: I forgot to say that as awesome Tanimura and Akiyama's part may have been, I think I prefer Y3 overall as far as the main story is concerned.

Around 15 million. I haven't bothered much with gambling, or minigames in general, yet.
I'll do the hostesses next.

i made all these awesome ass weapons for the last chapter and only used tanimura's dragon spear.............

i'm doing the trials now but i'm stuck on brawl trial 8

i got over 70 million now baccarat is ridiculous for money making. think i got that much in around an hour.

also finished hunting all the gangs and i'm one favor from maxing haruka's mood, but now i'm stuck...........
