My copy of Tekken 6 arrived today

Just entered a player room, host was using Ganryu. He had 2 wins in a row when I entered. Beat him first time, but it was close. Kicked from room.

Yesterday I received a message saying "hijo puta tranposo" from a Berserker Yoshimitsu player.

I think when I get tired of Lars I might try to learn Anna. Or Wang or Leo. One of the characters that barely gets used anyway.

Well, Now my player match record is 3-8 XD

Kazuya Mishima vs. Kazuya Brando was epic.

Ugh, I give up. Even though I REALLY like Lars, I cannot do his bound move (f/b +2,1) consistently during a juggle, so using him it's rather pointless if I can't juggle for more than 50 dmg.
Next, I'll try using Lili, Baek or Roger Jr..

Well, the 2 main juggles I use are only 65 damage I think. u/f+4, 2, 21, fb+21 B! d/b+2~f, SE1 and f+1+2, d/b+21, fb+21, B! d/b+2~f, SE1 both do exactly the same damage. If I can carry to a wall I use 111, B! b+1+2.

ff+2~f_WS1~f, SE3, 21, fb+21, B! etc... is more damage from what I remember, but it's harder to pull off. And ff+2/WS+1 don't seem as effect as u/f+4 or f+1+2.

Although I will say after a couple hours playing as Lars I do get a bit of thumb cramp, which never happened with Lili, presumably because of her much simpler commands.

Playing around with Lars in Practice mode, I can get 78 damage from him with a wall combo. Lili can do that without a wall fairly easily.

I was so glad that Steve's Lancaster combo was changed from f/b +1,1,2,1 to PAB b + 1,1,2,2... I hate the f/b motion.

Finally got my first hate mail for T6. The sad thing is how it was because the person I owned was a Christie user. >_>

The only thing I have close to hate mail atm is Sora's "You have to DOOOOOOOOOOODGE" Message. XD

Which I can't really do nothing about when Sora keeps combo-killing my dumb ass.

God I despise practice modes in games. I'm trying to practice Kazuya's 10 hit combos and it's fucking hard enough I keep screwing up, but when the dummy keeps falling over, some how that just annoys me. I wish those bastards would be smarter than other fighter developers and make a "dummy on a stick" type of dummy to choose to practice on for people who don't want it to fall down.

Well I'm not trying to learn them, I already know the combinations, I'm practicing them since I usually mess them up and the start ups for them are pretty fast and useful online. But I usually mess up midway when playing someone since I really suck at doing them. I only managed to do the one 3rd one(which I think is actually a 9 hitter) like once or twice nicely against someone online without fucking myself over.

Because most people aren't going to block/parry/interrupt them right. I've seen a Vindicator Nina online using them. Oh, and there was someone else at that Tekken Crash show who actually won with such a combo.
Personally I don't use them, but when the other player is really bad, I might do about 10 of Steve's Flicker punches in a row.

Pissing around in practice I managed to push Lars to 100+ damage with a wall combo.

Kazuya's 10 hit combos got really piss easy to do fast. The 9 hitter one is a bit harder to do though. The timing on it is bullshit, I mean I do it real well now(I even pwn'd a guy online with it today) but still, I should get used to the 10 hitters more so I don't have to bother with it. >_<

Apparently I did, although I played like I always do. I probably to try to use launchers to much though.

Does it really fucking matter? This is Tekken, if the guy can't handle your moves(even if they were spammed) then who cares. It's not some game with cheap moves, it's Tekken, even spamming can be broken down easily by people who know how to play. Ignore the bitch.

I'm talking about my game, not whether I beat him or not. I could do with adding some variety to it instead of relying on launches.

But as far as combos go I do want to use Lars's ff+2 more. For ages u/f+4 and 1+2 were it. Now I'm using u/f+3 a little more, and I want to add ff+2 to that as well, just to spice things up. Seems like one of his less effective launches though. I need to learn to use WS1 as well. I land it sometimes but I've never really practiced using it to start combos so it just goes to waste.

Have you tried using f+4, 1 I think that's a pretty effective combo starter.

I'm not sure there is a f+41 for Lars.
