It's an action game of top quality and it's actually quite lengthy for this genre. You'll definitely enjoy it.

Just bear in mind that there is a glitch (personally, I never encountered it) which screws up your save data. Konami'll be patching it, but until then I advise you to backup your save data.

Using a currency convertor it is $36 games normally come out over $60 here, so thats a good deal.

I have it, but as it arrived in the mail the same day I bought Fallout New Vegas, I won't be playing it for a while.

Hands down this has the best story of this gen, yeah better then infamous which only delivered on the ending.

That said Castlevania pisses on everything from a great height.

unless the things i read about this is false, this game can't be attached to previous castlevania story lines. either that, i'm missing the concept of reboot entirely

FINALLY i started this gotta say its pretty good.

I need to finish this. I also need to put some Kamelot on my PS3 so I have Roy Khan's vocals aiding me in my battles against the horrible curse.

So there's $30 of DLC for this, is it worth it?

Never bought it, but from what I've heard, not at all.

not worth it, its the reason i traded in my game in hope for a complete editon, that didn't happen though.

So this game is much better than I thought it would be. I was more or less just expecting a gothic God of War clone, which is still a fairly accurate description, but it feels extremely polished and has quite a lot more depth to it than you see in the first chapter or so.

I like how everything refers back to the book/menu and you can easily replay portions of the game to go back and find stuff you might have missed, I wasn't sure how Konami were going to keep it feeling somewhat like a Metroidvania game but in retrospect it all makes perfect sense.
The little hand drawn animations in your skill book are an amazing touch too.

Aside from the fact that the framerate is a bit choppy I don't really have anything bad to say about it, I regret not playing this earlier.

It really is a good game skip. Professor X is a great narrator.
