I haven't been able to read this at all for the chapters after Hancock gets Luffy into Impel Down. - Spoiler:
Luffy meets up with Buggy, runs around, gets to level 3 out of 5 and is about to fight some freak-monsters. He also met Mr.3

He's barely made an appearance throughout the chapter nor shown any characterisation when he finally pops up at all, how can you assume he's automatically awesome? >_>

Well, if this gives you any estimate...

Adding to that Eneru is a logia and can destroy entire islands with his strongest attacks. Of coure that's nowhere near what Goku can do and I think the TC of that topic believes that since Goku>>>OP characters DBZ must be superior to OP.

So it can take even longer for new chapters to come out? I don't think so.

Shit. DC puts excessive effort into sub-par stories with sub-par characters with horrible artwork and colouring; this process takes... what? A month? Manga chapters are shorter, cleaner, generally have good art (depending on which manga you like), and have superior characters and plotlines; they come out weekly. Oh, and sometimes they DO add colouring in the occassional chapter or cover page. I'd rather have a weekly black-and-white series that rocks than a monthly series that blows on every conceivable level.

| Seriously though, the UK manga scene isn't that big. Death Note appears to be the most popular manga going the latest sales I can find (The 5 highest selling manga volumes last year were Death Note 1-5). Although just browsing through shops you'd think it was Naruto. | |

| I'd be farther than I am but the site screwed up and wouldn't load half the manga pages. Seems to be fine now though. I'm in like chapter 25 or around there where that pirate captain masqueraded as some asshole butler for three years. | |
