| Well, I play SMT games a lot so it's not a surprise I can do it.
I didn't know newcomers had that much trouble.

| Who said anything about trouble? It's not difficult , the odd boss aside. | |

| Shadow Yukiko and Kanji were niggers.
The rest after that was piss easy.

i bulldoze my way through the game after a monster training montage. ooooohh, Me too! Especially on FF:Tactics/War of The Lions. That game gets super piss easy when you do nothing but grind for several hours on end. You can start with 2 squires and 2 chemists and end up with a Knight that can fly and summon mythical creatures, a Ninja that can leap tall buildings in a single bound and use Flare and Death spells, a Dancer that can speed up the party and freeze the enemies in their place, & a Mime for shits & giggles. XD But that's not even counting the MC, Ramza (Or whoever you chooose to call him). He can be a Monk that can pretty much insta-kill enemies with a single punch and shoot guns and hit the enemies before they hit him thus cancelling their attack and also have the ability to break armor, weapons, whatever the enemy has equipt.

| I don't think I'm gonna grind too much in this game. From what I've heard, time is of the essence.
So I just go out of the police station after being arrested because of Yosuke, and this game is pure win. The voice acting is the best I've ever seen and the design is clear and pretty.

| I've not been grinding, but I have been trying to do as many quests and S Links as possible. I've maxed out a couple, got Yukiko's Persona to evolve, and taken three different jobs. | |

| What I did on my first playthrough was fight any enemy that came my way.
I still do. It helps for you to level up.

| I love this game. One question though; There's one song that's not on the Soundtrack CD, and it's my favourite one as well. The missing tune is the one that plays when you're in the hub of the tv world, so why isn't it on the disc? | |

| The disc says "Disc 1". That song is on the second disc. | |

| I have two discs, but I'm guessing they're a little different to yours! The first disc is the game, the second is the soundtrack. | |

| The soundtrack has two discs. People who buy the game only get one. | |

| Really? Didn't know that. Anyway, my soundtrack disc doesn't say 'disc one' or anything like that on it. | |

| Oh well, it's a nice little bonus,m but it's not like I'm dying to rush out and buy the game soundtrack anyway. I'd rather just play the game and listen to it that way. | |

Anyone got any advice? | |

| what level are you? i think i was 25 on normal when i beat it
kill the side boss that constantly heals the main boss first, in the long run it makes this battle much easier
keep de-buffing the main boss with yosuke
use defense buffs if you can
block when a power charged attack is coming
if you can, use blue wall to block yosukes weakness, or just block with him when the boss begins using his electric atack
if you are missing a lot use the sukukaja buff on the charcter that is missing

| I took out the guy on the left first of all, as he's the one doing all the buffing on the other two, then just focussed on Kanji himself. When Kanji uses Power Charge, have everyone guard.
It's not a difficult fight, but it does drag on a bit. In fact, that seems to be a theme with later bosses. The early ones, Yukiko in particular, were bastard hard, but later ones are simple, they just take ages.

| Shadow Teddie is a prime example of piss easy but dragging on. | |

| these sound similar to the FF7 emerald/ruby weapons--lots of HP, piss-easy setup to kill. | |
