Dragon Ball Live Action Movie discussion

Let's just have one topic about it instead of making a million each time there's something new.

Anyways, if DB does really fail, Japan should do what they did in Godzilla Final Wars and make another DBZ special, have some humans in some town become evil or some shit, get an anime version of Chatwin's Goku as one of them being some "martial arts student" and have Goku OHKO him.

It won't fail. It will break even at worst.

So they changed the title to "Dragonball Evolution" now.

I ain't trashing it. I'm giving it a chance, only thing I dislike really is the lack of Krillin.
Hopefully they'll drop the "Evolution" title though, they still might since it's not officially confirmed or anything, just a decision they might take soon enough. >_<

though i dislike the idea of high school in there at all
i get the fact they tried to westernise/modernise all of this

They're trying to westernize Akira too, "Neo Manhattan" and everything, hehe.

Wonder what the name changes might be, Kaneda and Tetsuo are just two godly and iconic anime/manga characters and changing their names for an English Live Action movie is in itself, an insult. >_>
