Like with Cha-La-Head-Cha-La, We Gotta Power was replaced with the same boring opening music that’s not interesting at all. The good news is that We Were Angels was kept, which is super and all, because it’s a great song.

Oh, and Gohan has to read from an English book in this ep, so they do know that language in the DB world. It still makes Krillin’s line from way earlier a stupid dub line though, because Gohan was clearly asked to TRANSLATE the text, so “Could you repeat that in English” would still make no sense because Krillin doesn’t speak that language.

Now I wish to watch the subbed episodes. Too bad I would have to buy them. I dont gots the money

In the dub Goten knows how to pronounce the Kamehameha (so not Kamekameha). Not only did Funi miss a funny gag, it also makes Trunks’ facepalm extremely misplaced. Even the Ocean dub had Goten say KameKAMEha. >_>

Except that your ball says FIVE, your Japanese counterpart says FIVE and that you play in the THIRD match. U DA SMART FUNI. It’s mistakes like this that make me question John Burgmeir’s competence. Why make such a stupid and blatantly wrong line? Why not just look at the JAPANESE SCRIPT?! Or does fifteen sound cooler than five or something? >_>

Killa’s accent is just straight-up racism. His accent is so thick he’s not even understandable! And he’s voiced by the same guy who voiced Perfect Cell. My respect for him is gone.
