Made a mistake. Some moves and floor breaks still cause the bound effect, but Bound combos are gone. Here's a vid with Asuka's super (the rage art):

Here's Lili vs Steve... whose super killed her at ~80% health.

• Catalina/ Katarina speaks Brazilian like Christie. Also, she's a very beginner-friendly character; mashing pressing the same button repeatedly results in long strings.
• Kazuya retained his devil transformation and got one of Devil Jin's main moves.
• King got some of Armor King's moves.
• The new guy, Claudio, has been confirmed as an Italian. His hand is on fire and he fires an arrow made of energy for his super. And people said Lars and Alisa were too anime.

Spoiler:

• Harada said that he'll be adding more supers.
• New and safer wake-up options.
• Refloating a grounded opponent seems impossible, like in the online game.
• They also added back walk from that game.
• The armored moves can be beaten by low attacks or throws and the character still takes damage, so they aren't as good as Revolution's invincible moves. Hworang players will probably hate them though.
• Rage doesn't increase damage anymore. It enables the use of the super attack.
• Super attacks can be used in combos. Raw super attacks have armor.
• Bound in combos doesn't work anymore, like in Revolution, but it has been replaced with a new mechanic. Some moves send the opponents flying and you can dash and continue the combo as they land. Juggle damage is noticeably lower.
• The hit sparks have gotten huge.
• The camera zooms in and the game goes into slow motion for the finishing blow, even if it whiffs, or when two attacks collide.

Supers in Tekken?

Well, people usually say that Tekken hasn't changed much since 3, and Namco was looking for ways for Tekken to be more accessible and popular again. The huge hit sparks and the slow-mo make the game flashier and the armored moves, the supers and the nerfed oki and combo damage make it more beginner-friendly.

These changes don't sound bad (except for supers having armor and doing ~50% damage or higher of course).

It could be that, or it could be a manifestation of the idea that girls need to be more acrobatic to be able to compete with big, strong men.
