Biggest understatement of 2015. Especially when playing as Good Delsin Neon shits on everything else so hard you barely ever switch.

With Endless Speed Neon is great. Don't like it for combat though. I can see how it would be good but I prefer smoke bombing everyone. Or using Video to turn invisible and subdue everyone.

Destiny was the most underrated game of 2014 and was only poorly received due to bribes for 6/10 scores.
In fact it was so awesome the devs had to pay for the low scores as they couldn't unleash such an amazing game on the world as it just wasn't ready.

This is fun. Better mobility so you don't have to climb around all the time is nice, but it kind of doesn't feel like Infamous without it. It's better, but the traversal was a big part of Infamous and making it faster and simpler does take something away. I miss zipping around on railways and power lines. Being able to run up walls with Neon is cool, but I prefer using Smoke and looking for vents to go through. It's more Infamous-y.
But are his powers awesome enough to crash a game?
Sadly no. I haven't even noticed any big frame rate drops. There's an option to limit the frame rate to 30fps or leave it unlocked, which is nice I suppose. I just leave it unlocked.

I see what you mean about the story being short. It does away with nearly all the illusions of choice too, and pretty much locks you in to one path all the way. Like when you meet a conduit, there's a choice. And immediately after that there's a choice between a good or bad mission, but you can't do the bad mission if the first choice you made was good.

the spoilers (if any) shouldnt be too bad as it is a stand alone dlc prequel to a sub character in second son

just played a bit, it's okay so far. I like how it's easier to get around than Infamous 1, with the speed dash and all, no more annoying climbing. + you get a bigger jump very early on too.

I only have Smoke and Neon but so far the evil powers seem worse than the good ones. Neon especially since you don't get the slowmotion one, and all the healing powers are on the good side. The bigger vent boost for Smoke is nice though.

From memory I thought that Video was the best as far as evil was concerned, can't actually remember why though.

Yeah, evil Video is great. Steady rapid fire projectile, the best missile attack, and you summon demons when you turn invisible.
I've been doing all the side stuff first on my evil playthrough, so I was able to Neon and Video fully almost as soon as I got them. Only have 27 shards left now, which doesn't seem like it would be enough to fully upgrade Concrete. Although I won't need to since I've already done everything.

Decided to try out this recording and sharing stuff to show off an invisible lamppost I found. Yeah. Can't imagine I'll be using it much. I am enjoying the game's photo mode though.

First Light played a lot better than second son I think overall. Second Son just seems to be missing a lot of stuff to use your powers on. The lack of enemy variety makes combat stale and lack of cover akes you think melee would be the way to go.
Good Neon is broken as is video evil. I really think they missed a ot of opportunities in Second Son the story doesnt even feel different being good or bad. Also getting all powers in one go for an element really takes away from the game. First light where the game was geared around Neon worked a lot better and the collectibles and races were a lot more fun. Also the arenas as Delsin are more fun in First light then any gameplay in Second Son.
This made me really miss Infamous 2 that game was brilliant and I think even though I loved it I didn't realise how well it perfected gameplay int he infamous universe. It had so many more powers and so many more fun ones like the telekinesis and bullet shield.
