| Why are there so many different Poke Balls? I've only used the traditional ones so far because I have no idea how common the other ones are, but I haven't found a place to buy them yet and I don't want to waste them if there's a special situation where they come in handy. Normal ones work fine anyway. | |

| If its like other games just use normal ones unless you see something that doesn't normally show up or refuses to be caught with a normal ball. | |

| I know you can buy some of them, probably all of them, but they're not really worth pissing about with if you've got loads of ultra balls.

| Quick Balls are nice to keep in stock. They have a high catch rate if you use 'em on the first turn. You can buy 'em in Lumiose City, Snowbelle City, and Coumarine City.
Dusk Balls are pretty good to have on hand when you're playing at night or in caves. They're also available at Lumiose and Snowbelle, as well as Cyllage City.

| I stopped progressing and just went around catching every kind of pokemon I could for a while, seeing if anything took my fancy. Caught a female Pancham and evolved it, dropped it off with Paeorf at the daycare and got an egg. Got a Garchomp called Tulfurjh and an Aurorus called Flummo. Still got Hannibal and Narbaj. I think those are locked in as my 4 constants now. As cool as Shexter was I've been there and done that. Blastoise is old news. Dumped him in the PC. Caught a Panpour and named it Smorglull, but it evolved into a really creepy looking thing. So she's out.
I want a cool electric or psychic pokemon, but I haven't seen any new ones that I like.

I havent used an ultra ball in a long time because of Dusk, Dive, Net, Nest, Quick, and Timer balls. I still havent used my master. I crit captured Rayquaza on AS with a quick ball. Didnt expect the Deoxys, used a timer on it.
