| The pokemon competitive scene is basically 90% metagaming. He wouldn't like it. | |

| Pfft, he's no fun then. Guessing the other player's remaining pokemon and their builds was the most enjoyable aspect of the game. I remember surprising quite a lot of people with my mixed sweeper Tyranitar which had just enough EVs to kill any Gliscor with 2 Ice Beam. I also liked to start the match with the bug/steel legendary which was very popular as a lead with the choice scarf at that time. I'd use the same attack in a row for a few turns to give the other player the impression I was using a choice item too and then I'd unleash super effective attacks. | |

| Taking people by surprise with somewhat unorthodox set ups was definitely one of the better ways to play. Just because most people couldn't figure out how to deal with something different from the norm. | |

| I'm waiting to see if a "Z" version comes out. Then I'll grab it just so I can Nuzlocke it as well. | |

| I'd rather more sequel entries like B2/W2 than a third version. I'd like for them to become the norm. | |

I think they nerfed how long weather abilities last.

I would think a Ruby and Sapphire remake is next on the cards, and I'm fine with that.

I would think a Ruby and Sapphire remake is next on the cards, and I'm fine with that. I don't think anyone hasn't thought of that, but still, there will probably be a follow up to this region either before or after those remakes show up. I'd like the remakes to be the next pair too(if they do them) just to give us a break from Kalos a bit before throwing us back into its sequels or third version.

| The tiniest hint of a remake is in the game where people talk an awful lot about Hoenn or going to a region soon. Also waiting for them to release Diancie, Volcanion, and Hoopa. | |

| Got myself Pokemon Y. First Pokemon game since Blue on Gameboy, all those years ago. Picked the grass starter and just beat the first gym leader. All business as usual stuff far. | |

| It used to be, but many realized it was an unachievable dream due to new pokemon always being discovered every few years. 2BA master, you gotta do the impossible and see the invisible! | |

| Pssh, all you gotta do is beat the Elite 4 or whatever the equavalent is in this game. Then I'll be a master. It also just struck how non-violent the Pokemon world is. The Pokemon beat the crap out of each other, but the humans are so nice. I'm just a kid, and these Team Flair guys could very easily just beat me up or kill me, but as long as I defeat their Pokemon they're like "Okay, I'll let you nose around our business". | |

| Got my second badge, no problemo. My main Pokes so far are Hannibal (Quilladin), Shexter (Wartortle), Buggerby (Diggersby) and Paeorf (Pancham). Currently the last two slots are filler by Nutternork (Dwebble) and Bozlblbla (Electrite), but I've been switching around quite a lot. I'm tempted to keep Nutternork on permanently just because I'm so proud of his name. I at least want to see if he turns into something cool.
There's a lot I don't understand/haven't bothered with, like berries, O Powers, the amie and training minigames.

| Nutternork is an amazing name, keep it with you always. You don't need to bother with any of that other nonsense. | |

Nuh uh, you'll be a Pokemon Champion. A Pokemon Master is a whole 'nother higher form of enlightenment that takes a lot more work to achieve.

| Alright, got 5 badges and just arrived at Leverra City. That scary house was pretty darn scary. Still rockin' it with Hannibal, Shexter and Paeorf, all fully evolved now. Shexter can even Mega Evolve, although only during battle. But it doesn't cost a turn and as far as I can tell there's no reason not to use it, so I don't know why they didn't just make it permanent. Paeorf was a pain to evolve too. He was level 45 or so and I got bored of waiting to see if he evolved, so I looked it up. Turns out he's supposed to turn into Pangoro at level 32, but it only happens if there's a Dark Pokemon on your team. What the fuck? Pointless and arbitrary. So I caught an Absol just to do that and then got rid of it.
Swapped out the rest of the team. Nutternork turned into a weird thing and he wasn't that good so I dropped him off at the daycare. Caught a Chatot and named it Chancho so I could use Fly, but then I found out it doesn't evolve, which is super lame. Went back and caught a Fletchling instead since it gets Fire powers later. I named Narbaj. Still rotating the last two slots as I find cool stuff.

| You think that's pointless and arbitrary? There's one Pokemon you have to evolve by getting it to a certain level and then holding your 3ds upside down. | |

So basically you have to threaten it to evolve. Someone call PETA.

He only gets one move really since I taught him Cut, Strength and Rock Smash.

| Gotta evolve and adapt to somethin' in this harsh world. We have Poke Ball and ice cream cone mimics, so keys seem like the most logical next step. | |
