Could have better names for this gen's games.
Pretty though.

Yeah watched the live announcement. Overall, looks better than gen 5 so I'm happy. Grass starter looks awful but fire and water look alright.

That looks like a huge step forward. No 3D worlds previously right?

I didn't play the last gen's games, but I had a few battles on Pokemon online. I'd used the blond couple as an avatar and named my trainers Nate & Serena. Then some guy I faced told me "shouldn't it be Dan & Serena"? I proceeded to kick his ass.

So after that fucking mess of an Eeveelution was announced, they revealed a few more pokemon and my hope for this gen was rekindled.
Spoiler:
The panda and grass ram look pretty boss. The lizard looks derpy as fuck. The robin looks alright.

Easiest Pokemon games yet.
Exp Share is overpowered now. They made it a Key Item and now your entire team gets exp. For those who EV train and dont want to Super Train. You can turn off the Exp Share in the Key Items and train normally.
Super Training is a FAST way to EV train.
Pokemon Amie helps in battles. The higher the affection the pokemon has the more likely it is to Dodge attacks, Crit, Shrugging off status effects, and surviving a fatal blow. Since this is also overpowered they have it turned off for player vs player battles.
As for my gameplay, I just beat the 2nd gym and my whole team is lv39 or higher, fully EV trained.

Honestly it's only easier than the other Pokemon games (which are all really easy) if you abuse the exp share and ev train your Pokemon. There is really no need to do the latter unless you're battling other people, and I've had the exp share off unless I need to train and found myself horribly underlevelled a few times.

There's actually am even faster way to EV train involving certain items, pokerus and hordes isn't there?
Anyway, what are your friend codes? I can check out your Friend Safari pokemon. Apparently mine has Pupitar and some other crappy one. I'd like to know what the third pokemon is so do tell me if you ever check mine out some time pweeze. Here's mine: 3668 - 8604 - 5904

I have Sneasel and Delibird, not sure about the last one yet. I'll post my friend code next time I have my 3DS with me.

I don't understand the logic behind EV training your team and then complaining about the single player being too easy.

Yeah. There's never really been a bad one among the main Game Freak titles. Each generation of games builds up on the last with more improvements, more streamlining, new pokemon, and updated visuals.

This is the best Pokemon generation since 3, maybe even 2.

I agree, the combination of properly functioning online, just about every good feature from previous games being included (or perhaps more importantly the bad features being excluded) and the sheer number of things to do make X&Y amazing entries in the series.

Alrighty. I'll catch you online on 3DS some time so your third pokemon can be made available. It's kinda irksome that both players need to be online in-game at the same time to activate the third ones, but oh well. My FS ones are Pupitar(mentioned before), Dwebble, and Rhydon.

I had someone check for me a while back but I can only remember that I'm dragon type and have Noivern.

Just looked. You've got Noibat and Fraxure. Will need you to be playing to see what the third one is. Unless the Noivern is the third poke and that person wasn't mistaken, which is a bit of a slap to the face since you already have a Noibat taking up a spot.

How's the new OU metagame? Still weather-centric?

I haven't attempted it yet, although I always found OU fairly dull so I might not at all. Apparently weather has been nerfed though.

Oh, don't mind me. I just wanted to check if Neo resents Pokemon metagaming. OU is the best tier for my most favourite pokemon though, Latios. Switching in a modest Latios with 252 Sp. Atk EVs and Choice Specs and firing a Draco Meteor was extremely silly, but satisfying for some reason. Obviously, being the ultimate matagamer, I'd taught my Latios HP Fire too for those pesky Skarmories, Skizors and that ugly grass/steel pokemon from fifth gen.
