Nah, Kaio has some stupid connection issues. The only time he ever played online with us was in that Lost Planet 2 demo I think.

People complained it was all buggy of glitchy or something so I never bothered. I got War for Cybertron instead when that came out.

From what i've been hearing people were exaggerating about that game way too much its not that bad by any stretch of the imagination. As long as you have people to play with it will be fine. Connection issues are the biggest problem, but did we even lag in the demo?

Nah, the demo went smoothly.

I assume the game's community has dwindled in numbers by now, so I'd rather not bother with the game. Plus, I'm not in the mood for a multiplayer shooter right now so I'll wait for a possible sequel(so long as they keep the giant monster gimmick considering that just made the teamwork even more fun).

No sentinel

Oh there was a list for assists too. Top 5 were Tron's flame, Sentinel's drones, Doom's missiles, Wesker's low shot and Akuma's tatsumaki IIRC.

Bolded are the ones that I think are not properly placed. Morrigan should be lowered and the rest should go up in the list.

i played this a little today its really easy to do moves i'm not sure if i'm feeling it.

Chris sure, but Thor and Ryu? Thor is very sluggish, even his attacks are terribly slow. He needs specific assists to work, but every character is better with assists. Ryu has no mix-ups and possibly the worst projectile. I don't know much about the rest.

There is a really good teir list going around GFAQs right now. It's got a chart and everything. If I wasn't drunk I'd find it.

I like Taskmaster. Not a fan of Dormammu.

The wait after every match while the game updates my data and saves and all that bullshit is really annoying.

Okay, so at the moment I'm going with X23/Ryu/Taskmaster and Tron/Thor/Phoenix, although I'd like to find some characters to replace Taskmaster and Phoenix.

Thor is also extremely powerful, has a 100% combo, has the second highest defense in the game and while hard to manage is still very good when you learn him well enough. He's certainly not at the top but that doesn't mean he belongs anywhere near the bottom. Ryu is more of a really basic character, not a great projectile but he's got good comboability, can chain his level 3 hyper into a level 1 hyper both of which do really good damage and has decent stats all around. He's a very safe character that is very basic and easy to use and does not belong at the bottom probably in the middle is more like it.

At the con I went to, there was a couple multiplayer games going on. Brawl, Melee, CoD, Halo and MvC3. I beat everyone in MvC3 except a tournament level player who spammed the same combo with Wesker/Wolverine/Hulk. I almost beat him though. Kicked everyone's ass in Brawl though lol.

I think I'm just going to have to accept that I'll never get any better at this game.

Train against the CPU's hard difficulty in training mode.

Anyone been able to beat arcade mode on very hard yet?
