You're not very well informed if you consider Storm to be forgetful when she's the most recognized female of the X-Men. Viper is also loved by the Japanese so there ya go on her side.

EDIT: I'll update this after Jump Festa is over as more characters are going to be announced there.

DOUBLE EDIT: And to be fair, it does make some sense they would add these two. Storm has been a fan favorite and recognized member of the X-Men since forever and one of the god tiers from MvC2 and Viper functions as a representative for SFIV and replacement for CapCom.

Storm's fine, I see why they put her in.

I won't comment on Viper as I know nothing about Street Fighter.

Forgetful when you look at the rest of the X men, Wolverine, Cyclops Gambit, Iceman, Jean grey/pheonix. You'd think of them before you'd ever think of her. Shes powerful and cool and stuff but man saying she isn't forgetable is being ignorant in itself Baal. Rouge and Jean are more recognisable or just as recognisable, Psylocke and shadowcat are popular too. I could go on and on.

Wasted slot is wasted slot. Not everyone liked SF4 either, so I'm going to leave that other character alone.

I'd think someone who's proven to be able to screw with the laws of nature is pretty memorable, especially when it's been established she is quite dangerous.

Iceman? You list Iceman, really? He's about as forgettable as they come, Gambit hasn't been popular since the 90s, and Jean is probably the most bland female in the X-Men and about the only thing from her in particular that sticks out is she dies a lot.

Your concept of popularity is out of tune with reality, because Storm is the most recognized female X-Men. Hell, one of the most recognized Marvel females in general, which isn't really an accomplishment seeing as there aren't many that a lot of people care about, but still.

Hey I like storm my initial reaction was happyness until I realised that spots in this game weren't plentiful, and looking at the rest of Marvels crap roster I began to change my mind. Comic book storms character is so bland and boring too, she has to announce everything she does.

Worst thing about her imo. She has too many powers. Her power is the only thing that makes her awesome not her character, the only reason she lasts so long is she can control lightning, wind, ice, water, and fly. Thats a bit overboard. Gambit is Cajun heartthrob with kenetic enrgy explosions, and Iceman has his ice powers concentrated and a range of versatility. I'd love to have them both over her.

Jean is, and the pheonix is. Yes everyone knows who storm is but shes forgettable to me. powerful and lame as she is.

I have to agree with Ace in that Iceman is more recognisable than Storm, but he's blatantly wrong in saying Storm is forgettable.

I know I'm wrong I'm just upset at the Marvel roster, Storm to me is X23 again. MADOK and Dorm. I don't know what marvels been smoking. Storm being the best of them but still.

Although, I have to agree I didn't really want another X-Men character and if I did it would've been Kitty Pryde.

Iceman is a nobody compared to Storm, speaking as someone who's never followed X-men at all.

If they were gonna do another x-men character I think she's a decent enough choice, although I would have liked to have someone like gambit/sunfire/nightcrawler. Pryde would be interesting as i'd love to see how they used her power to incorporate into a fighting game.

I'm very disappointed with C.Viper though there's a lot more characters from the SF series i'd be more interested in seeing. See might be a good hoice though as her moves are very different from the regular SF guys and i can't help but think that was part of the reason. I'm assuming they didn't pick a SF grappler as haggar will hopefully fill that role.

I'd have liked Gambit or Shadowcat, because Gambit's a champ; and like Buu said, I'd like to see how they'd use Shadowcat's power.

Nightcrawler would be cool, but isn't Deadpool already the teleporter?

Gambit, Iceman, Sentry, Thanos, Silver Surfer, Strider, Commando, servebot, Batsu, Sean, Hayato, Jin and protoman. Theres more but my brain hurts. Mostly Capcom characters
