3-4 on Inferno is like a brand new difficulty level for some god damn reason.

I'm gonna have to get this down to a science. I can take out two anthills pretty quickly before the wasps show up, but once they do I'm gonna have to stick to the bots like glue, because if they have to travel more than 20 feet to revive me they're dead.

They are so fucking stupid though. I died, and on the way to me Kid died. Cyrus was behind Kid running to help me as well, but instead of stopping on the way to revive Kid he just ran straight past him and got killed.

Neo and moose we should start our 3 player campaign

I still don't have the game, I expect it to be delivered at some point on/after monday.

Always thought it looked like a really cheap and repetitive shooter, but you guys seem to be enjoying it, and it's only about £20.

It's simple fun. Definitely worth it if you have someone to co-op with. I only bought because buu was pestering me for another online game to play together.

Considering how quickly you folded i don't consider it pestering.

You might wanna pick up a mic though simian chances are hearing the rest of us talk amongst ourselves without anyway to tell us to shut up could get very irritating.

My best advice is check out the trailers and if you think it looks cool you'll like it. I mean its unrelenting action which is a game mechanic i like. Some people call that mindless, although not thinking on the higher difficulties = dead.

I've already got a Bluetooth mic... somewhere. Sounds like fun.

Well let me know if you're picking it up, i got it from tesco entertainment for under 20. They were reliable and i got it either on release day or before that i can't remember.

I'll happily play this as long as someones up for it so don't worry about not having people to play with.

Just spent about 40 minutes on 3-4 on Inferno. Got to the queen ant easy enough, took out on anthill when it spawned, and then retreated to fight off the wasps. The plan was to keep one alive so that 4 more wouldn't spawn. Stuck close to the bots. Died a ton but they always got me. Took ages to whittle down the wasps, but managed it. Then back to the queen to take out the other anthills. Took them out, and started attacking the queen.

Shot her for fucking ages. About halfway through one of the bots must have killed the last wasp since more showed up. But I decided to ignore them and keep at the queen. Eventually killed her, but I died soon after. Bots were close so I wasn't worried. Then I turned the camera to look at them. One was dead, and the other was stuck trying to jump over a rock that he could easily walk round. He died. Game over.

I am so fucking angry with this game right now.

Well I found that homing assault rifle I wanted, so I figured I'd give it a go. It's exactly the same as the tier 6 one, with the low ammo and strict reload, but it's 800 damage with homing bullets, so it's worth. It's the only reason I could fight the wasps.

There's a sniper that could be helpful, but by the time I have the money for it I'll be at tier 8 anyway.

Went into the City to buy the game, but no where stocks it. Gamestation even told me there is no PS3 version, that it's a 360 exclusive, which I know is BS. Anyway, seems to be the usual case for niche games in that there's virtually nowhere to walk in and buy a physical copy, so I'll need to order online and wait a few days. Patience is not one of my virtues.

They were thinking of one of the older EDF games, did you make sure they knew you wanted Insect Armageddon?

Huh, ok, I guess they just didn't have a clue what they were talking about/didn't listen.

I suppose it's too much to expect video game store employees to know more than what the next FPS to be released is.

Yeah, they followed up their misinformation by asking if I wanted to pre-order Modern Warfare 3. They're really pushing that, and it's not out for a while yet.
